Michelle Obama Partners With BLK Organization ‘No Voting No Vucking’

Former first lady Michelle Obama’s voting initiative is partnering with the BLK dating app that made a video titled “No Voting No Vucking.” The Black dating organization released the video encouraging Black voters to go to the polls, titled “No Voting No Vucking,” which features Rashad Spain, known as Saucy Santana, and Katrina Taylor, who is known as Trina. “No voting, no vucking, no voting, no touching,” Saucy Santana sings in the video. “You wanna hit this booty, gotta do your civic duty.

In the video, Trina sings the lyrics “but you want to flirt, I’ll show you how to be a poll worker.” “Don’t stop now, stuff my ballot box again, brought my homegirl through, we’ll put the bi in partisan,” the singers also say in the video. Michelle Obama’s organization When We All Vote said in a statement: “Together, we will change the culture around voting and ensure our communities’ voices are heard in the midterm elections and beyond.”

Exotic Dancers Rejoice As Bristol Council Votes To Keep Strip Clubs

Exotic dancers in Bristol have been left “screaming and crying with joy” after the council voted down a motion to ban strip clubs and other sex entertainment venues (SEVs) in the city. A consortium of women’s rights organizations and community groups have been campaigning for Bristol to follow in the footsteps of Edinburgh and impose a blanket ban, but strippers insist exotic dancing has given them a better life. “Stripping has allowed me to have a flexible enough schedule to pursue my dream career while simultaneously enabling me to live a comfortable life—not living in constant stress due to living from paycheck to paycheck,” says one dancer.

Green party councillor Guy Poultney received a round of applause when he accused women’s rights groups of arguing “we should discount the voices of some women in order to empower them and to restrict their choices in the name of equality and take away their jobs for their own good.” He added they were acting “as if some women can’t be trusted to make choices for themselves.” Following the vote, the Bristol Sex Worker’s Collective said in a statement: “It should never be this difficult for a group of workers to not only have to defend their work rights but their humanity.”

Porn Industry Rejoices As California Votes To Shut Down Condom Bill 

adult-1822413_640Porn stars and porn sites are in celebration mode this month after receiving word that the state of California has voted to reject the “California Safer Sex in the Adult Film Industry Act,” also known as Proposition 60. Prop 60 brought backlash from porn producers and others in the industry because they would have needed to prove that condoms were worn during scenes involving “vaginal or anal penetration by a penis,” in addition to requiring producers to pay for testing, vaccinations, and medical exams of performers. The bill, which was introduced and funded by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, was struck down 46 to 55 percent.

Critics of Prop 60 argued that Los Angeles already passed a measure in 2012 that requires the use of condoms in porn made in L.A. County. And regular STI testing is also an industry standard. Many of the bill’s opponents and AIDS activists have been working together to provide guidelines that would mostly align with those in Prop 60, but which would give “power to the performer.” Today, porn stars are just happy the bill was rejected, and have taken to Twitter to express their relief: “Looks like #prop60 isn’t going to pass! Any other news we missed about people getting fucked without a condom?”
