Artist/Activist Creates Sexy ‘Consent Underwear’

An artist and activist who created a line of consent-themed underwear has sold over 1,000 pairs to people hoping to talk about boundaries before sex. Her line, called Assk First, features “hand-drawn designs that introduce consent in a creative way”—all proceeds go to the nonprofit SafeBae. The breathable laser-cut underwear is adorned with her original designs and slogans she hopes will spark a conversation about consent.

“Ask me what I want!” reads a black thong; “Consent is sexy,” reads another. A recent collection simply says “Get consent” in a heart with two skeletal hands reaching for each other. “I imagined so many different scenarios where someone would see them and be prompted to ask, ‘What does your underwear mean?’” she explained.

Adidas Frees The Nipple

Adidas might be the first sportswear brand to “free the nipple.” They tweeted out a poster featuring 25 unique sets of breasts to promote its new sports bra line that includes 43 styles, “so everyone can find the right fit for them.” The company wrote in its tweet: “We believe women’s breasts in all shapes and sizes deserve support and comfort.”

The breasts and accompanying sets of nipples featured in the tweet come in all shapes, sizes, and skin tones. The all-inclusive poster has yet to be shared on Facebook or Instagram, whose shared parent company, Meta, says it removes “images of female breasts if they include the nipple.” Adidas says its new sports bra collection “comes in our most extensive and inclusive size range yet,” and is engineered to support all body sizes through the full range of workouts, with light, medium, and high levels of support.

Police have finally caught a serial underwear thief in China who was found with 285 used bras and 185 dirty panties in his van. The 32-year-old lingerie thief reportedly used a custom-made tool that resembled a fishing rod to steal hundreds of intimate undergarments. The sheer number amassed was said to be enough to cover half a basketball court!

The man confessed that he’d been stealing sexy lady things for over a three-year period. He also said that while his hobby started as an illicit fetish, it grew to become a problem over which he had little control. He plans to seek psychological help, but strangely, he is not the first to be caught in China for stealing women’s underwear. There was a man caught just last year for stealing over 2,000 pairs of his neighbors’ lingerie. Must be something (kinky) in the water!
