Club 18-30 also claimed it had even witnessed the “death of the holiday romance,” explaining hooking up with a stranger is now “almost totally alien” to younger people today. This is because of the popularity of dating apps such as Tinder, which means there is less incentive for young people on vacation to look for a holiday hook up.
