Men Who Watch Porn Find Women’s Bodies Less Attractive, But Not Their Faces

Researchers from Abertay University found that men who watch porn find women’s bodies less attractive—but their viewing habits do not influence how they see their faces.  The study found that “much greater nuance” was required when considering the real effect of pornography on relationships. The lead researcher said: “What these findings suggest is that while sexual arousal induced via pornography plays some role in men’s attractiveness judgements of women, it is far from a simple stimulus-response relationship where some would suggest that watching porn has a universally negative impact on how men view other women.”

Participants in the study were asked to look at a series of porn stars either clothed, nude or engaged in sex, and then rate the attractiveness of other women. Researchers found that looking at adult entertainers reduced the attractiveness of familiar women’s bodies in the eyes of the participants, but not their faces. “Future research could explore these same effects in women and how porn consumption may influence attractiveness judgments over a long time period, and how the personality traits of the person viewing pornography also matter,” the researcher added.

Science Finds Best Sex Position To Help Women Cum Better

Missionary gets the shaft as the most boring sex position, but a new study finds quite the opposite is true. It seems male on top with a pillow to prop the woman’s hips is the best way to get blood flow to the clitoris and achieve orgasm, according to researchers. Doctors used an ultrasound scanner to measure blood flow on a test couple as they got it on in five positions for 10 minutes each, including face-to-face with female above (“The Cowgirl”), face-to-face and seated (“Lotus”), face-to-face with male above, with and without a pillow (“Missionary”) and kneeling with woman bending over (“Doggy-style”).

Face-to-face positions generally enhanced clitoral blood flow, leading to better orgasms. “The kneeling/rear entry position produces the least amount of direct clitoral contact, and resulted in a negligible increase in blood flow compared to the face-to-face positions,” researchers wrote. The pillow was key to maximum pleasure as they offer deeper penetration, especially “sex pillows” that provide “more precise and consistent pelvic angulation than conventional bed pillows.”

Great Orgasms Are Inherited In Your DNA, Study Says

The ability to have earth-shattering orgasms is partially genetic, British researchers have uncovered. The study, which focused on female orgasms, asked identical and nonidentical twins two questions: “Overall, how frequently do you experience an orgasm during intercourse?” and “How frequently do you experience an orgasm during masturbation by yourself or a partner?” Researchers were interested in uncovering whether there was a difference in answers between the sets of identical and nonidentical twins.

Identical twins share a DNA code with each other, meaning the differences in their answers were likely a result of the different environments in which they were induced into orgasm. Nonidentical twins, on the other hand, only share 50% of their DNA, meaning differences in their answers come down to genetics as well as the different environments in which they might come to orgasm. Sure enough, the researchers found that genetic factors played an important role, accounting for up to 60% of a woman’s ability to reach the big O.

More Women Than Men Turned On By ‘Aggressive’ Porn, Study Finds

A new study proves more women than men enjoy watching “aggressive” porn—dispelling myths about what each gender likes when it comes to XXX. The study, published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, found that “those who did say that they enjoyed displays of aggression, including rougher aggression, somewhat surprisingly women were a majority.” One of the study’s researchers explained, “Women were more likely to report being aroused by aggression, actively seeking aggression and wanting to see more aggression in mainstream pornography.”

After exploring 122 anonymous porn users’ preferences, the study found over half of all viewers, 53%, liked at least a little bit of aggression in porn—breaking down to 66% of women and 40% of men. Women, too, were more likely to go for “harder” expressions of aggression in porn and to seek it more than men, with themes such as bondage, discipline, dominance, submission and sadomasochism. “Very little attention has been given … to female viewers, their preferences and their desires,” a researcher said. “I noticed that much of the literature talked about aggression in mainstream pornography as a growing phenomenon (my findings show that this is not the case), claiming that this is driven by men’s desires for domination over women.”

Man Suffers Amnesia After Sex

Image Source: Flickr.com | User: purits

Maybe the sex was forgettable? A 66-year-old Irish man was rushed to a hospital with short-term amnesia after an “afternoon delight” with his wife. The unusual incident was analyzed in the Irish Medical Journal, with doctors declaring that sex is a trigger for short-term amnesia—officially as known as Transient Global Amnesia (TGA).

The medical journal reports that he lost his short-term memory “within 10 minutes of sexual intercourse.” The man had previously experienced TGA back in 2015, with that episode also occurring shortly after sexual intercourse—he later regained his short-term memory. The authors explain that “precipitation of TGA has been linked with several activities including physical activity, immersion in cold or hot water, emotional stress, pain… and sexual intercourse.”

Women Could Take ‘On-Demand’ Contraceptive Right Before Sex, Researchers Find

Researchers have discovered an exciting new form of “on-demand” birth control for women. Experts from Stanford University had “promising results” when using a combination of the morning-after pill and an arthritis drug to “disrupt ovulation at peak fertility.” According to the study, the birth control option taken orally just before sex “may be the best candidate” for last-minute contraceptive.

The results concluded that the drug combination can interrupt ovulation “when conception risk is highest,” but noted that more research is necessary. Current birth control methods often include unreliable options for women resulting in hormone imbalances and other undesirable side effects. The new method is especially timely as recent laws across the country are restricting access to abortion.

Sex Helps Ease Hay Fever Symptoms

We’ve got good news for allergy sufferers: sex is the cure. Researchers have found fucking could help banish hay fever symptoms. According to scientists in Iran, during orgasm the nervous system constricts blood vessels, which can ease a blocked nose and clear streaming eyes.

Researchers claim getting it on would be a lot more pleasurable and far cheaper than taking antihistamines. “It can be done from time to time to alleviate the congestion and the patient can adjust the number of intercourses depending on the severity of the symptoms.” Yet another good reason to stay in bed when the pollen count is high…

Electric Shock To Penis May Cure Premature Ejaculation, Study Finds

There might be a “shocking” new cure for blowing your load too soon. Researchers were able to help one man last roughly seven times longer in bed after undergoing electric-current therapy. A recent study published in the Asian Journal of Urology reported how Beirut-based medics ran an electrical current through a man’s penis to stimulate his dorsal penile nerve, one of the nerves that gathers movement and sensation information from the penis.

The unidentified man—who was only able to last for 40 seconds during sex—was treated with the zapping therapy by sticking electrodes to his penis for 30 minutes of continuous current three times a week. Fifteen months after the treatments began, the man recorded an average of 4.9 minutes for his sexual performance. Although the electric-shock process “is not fully understood,” the therapy’s success has doctors calling for more studies to be conducted.

Yoga Teacher Can Reach ‘Deep’ Orgasm With No Stimulation Thanks To Her Practice

An Estonian yoga teacher has learned how to orgasm “almost instantly” without any stimulation. The woman taught herself over the course of a decade how to achieve “deep sexual satisfaction” after traditional sex proved unsatisfying. Now, she claims she can orgasm for up to 10 minutes without stimulation due to “years of yoga and tantric training.”

“I learned to relax and let go, accepted body image and brought increased mindfulness also to daily life in general,” she told researchers in a study published in the journal Sexual Medicine. “In addition, I did pelvic floor exercises, breast massage practice and practices to release shame and guilt.” Researchers found that the orgasms she taught herself were nearly as pleasurable as her clitoral or anal ones—and she claims, “What I just did, I know every woman can do it.”

Sexperts Debunk G-Spot Myth

Sexual health experts want to dispel the myth that the G-spot is a magical “orgasm button.” They claim calling the area the G-spot is misleading because it’s actually part of the five “erotic zones” inside the pussy—and they want to rename it as a G-zone. The term “G-spot” was coined in honor of a mid-20th-century German gynecologist who observed that this region contained a “distinct erotogenic zone.”

We now know that this area is made up of five different tissues—found in different locations of the female genitalia—each serving a different purpose during sex. While many want to rename the G-spot, the jury is still out on exactly where to find it, with some researchers recently comparing it to the legend of the Holy Grail or the lost city of Atlantis. Meanwhile, sex therapists and other experts want to further confuse everyone by having a name for every spot—the A-spot, the E-spot and the C-spot.
