Exotic Dancers Rejoice As Bristol Council Votes To Keep Strip Clubs

Exotic dancers in Bristol have been left “screaming and crying with joy” after the council voted down a motion to ban strip clubs and other sex entertainment venues (SEVs) in the city. A consortium of women’s rights organizations and community groups have been campaigning for Bristol to follow in the footsteps of Edinburgh and impose a blanket ban, but strippers insist exotic dancing has given them a better life. “Stripping has allowed me to have a flexible enough schedule to pursue my dream career while simultaneously enabling me to live a comfortable life—not living in constant stress due to living from paycheck to paycheck,” says one dancer.

Green party councillor Guy Poultney received a round of applause when he accused women’s rights groups of arguing “we should discount the voices of some women in order to empower them and to restrict their choices in the name of equality and take away their jobs for their own good.” He added they were acting “as if some women can’t be trusted to make choices for themselves.” Following the vote, the Bristol Sex Worker’s Collective said in a statement: “It should never be this difficult for a group of workers to not only have to defend their work rights but their humanity.”

The Sex Question Women Always Ask Male Strippers

A male stripper with an uncanny resemblance to the “Magic Mike” star has gained millions of followers on social media.  With nearly 6 million followers on TikTok, the British-born performer is Australia’s most-requested male entertainer, revealing he makes between $700 and $1,000AUD per show, “depending on how long they want me to stay.” The Magic Men co-owner has been performing since 2015, and recently shared the sex question “every girl” asks male strippers: whether they get “excited” during a show.

“We always get this question. But it’s so different—when you’ve got the adrenaline and you’re nervous, and you’re obviously performing in front of sometimes up to 1,000, 2,000 girls in the crowd, it’s the last thing you’re thinking of,” he said. “Even though you’re doing sexual movements or you’re grinding on the girls, you’re not in that mind frame. You don’t think of it as sexual. Because it’s like, I guess, dancing on stage—so you’re just thinking about your choreography.” When asked whether women get handsy, he admitted that “they sometimes do,” explaining “Because I always go on at the end of the show, I always get the drunk girls, and they’re always the hardest to deal with.”

Sex Workers Share What Really Happens In Strip Clubs On ‘StripTok’

Sex workers are stripping away preconceptions on TikTok. Dubbed “StripTok,” exotic dancers explain to their followers what really goes on behind the stripper pole. In one exotic dancer’s viral videos, which has 4.3 million views, the sexhibitionist can be seen counting a stack of cash she earned “crawling around onstage” for work.

“While that might look degrading to you, it isn’t to me,” she says, quipping, “The other great thing about this money is half of it came from your dad.” She even invites her more than 300,000 followers to virtually accompany her to the club. Another StripToker rains knowledge on her followers, explaining in one viral video that six out of 10 strippers are college graduates, 91% report being close to their parents, seven out of 10 dancers feel empowered through their line of work and other shocking facts.

Strippers Are Delivering Food During Quarantine

A strip club owner has a creative solution to the coronavirus lockdown ― Boober Eats, a play on food delivery service Uber Eats. To keep his dancers employed during Portland, Oregon’s mandatory closure of bars and restaurants save for takeout and delivery, he started having the dancers deliver food from his strip clubs wearing sexy outfits and pasties. He tweeted, “Working on keeping our kitchen open for food deliveries and our staff employed. Dancers will be delivering the food orders topless to your doorstep. Calling it Boober.”

There are roughly 30 dancers and eight security guards currently working to make Boober a success, in addition to the staff on site cooking meals and posting to social media about the new business. One of the Boober strippers explains, “This is my primary source of income. It’s keeping dancers employed and getting some income as well as the bouncers, the DJs, the cooks ― it’s keeping us all going.” The owner adds, “We’re getting to bring joy into their lives. Just being able to be there for our community and to be there for each other ― it’s been really rewarding.”

Just when you think you’ve seen it all with innovative Lego creations, someone goes ahead and creates a Lego strip club! The unofficial and very NSFW custom Lego strip joint is called Foxy Blox, and it’s available for purchase for $275.00. Yes, you can actually buy what is probably the most unique and definitely the sexiest set in history.

“Filled with glint and glam, hologram foil bricks and working lighting, your half naked Lego figs will be paying their way through medical school in no time,” reports Gizmodo. The set includes such fun details as hologram foil stamped wall pieces, working LED lights, and four exclusive stripper “minifigs” and a shirtless emcee that looks uncannily like a Ron Swanson Chippendale dancer. As the set’s manufacturers say, the Foxy Blox “is a place where dreamers can dream, and dancers can dance. And dream. And also dance.”

Nursing Home Offers Sexual Healing to Residents

4629570540_d7645a6608_zOne British assisted living facility takes the holistic approach to health and wellness very seriously. Chaseley Trust, a respected nursing home in an historic seaside mansion, offers amenities like a movie theater, gym and, occasionally, strippers and prostitutes! “People have needs,” explains the manager. “We are there to help.”

While it is controversial to allow strippers and prostitutes to offer services to the disabled residents, Chaseley Trust defends the practice, explaining that many of the people they help are young and have neurological problems. “Most of the time, these are people who feel frustrated by a primeval need they cannot fulfill,” says the manager. And as for the older residents, it’s become common knowledge that sex is a key element of the elderly leading a happy life. In fact, one of the strippers, who recently gave a lap dance to a blind and deaf man, was put in touch with the assisted living facility through TLC Trust, an organization that advocates for the sexual rights of the disabled. Right on!

Feel like some good sexual healing yourself? We are also here to help with all your (frisky) needs!

Strippers Explain Strip Club Etiquette

Copy-of-Stripper_on_a_Pole_svgLet’s face it, in any establishment there are unwritten rules about how to behave—and this is especially true at a strip club. That’s why some exotic dancers were only too happy to sit down with a writer at Vice to discuss how customers should behave when getting down at the strip club. Here’s the dancers’ best advice for those looking to have some fun, and not piss anyone off:

  1. Don’t try to have sex with the dancers
Strippers work in the sex industry, but they aren’t sex workers. Meaning, they don’t have sex for money. Don’t ask; it’s rude.
  2. Be nice; don’t be creepy Some strippers have had some not so nice experiences with dudes telling them that they look like a sister or a daughter. That’s creepy. Best not to mention relatives at the strip club.
  3. Wear deodorant
Body odor kills the mood pretty quick. Be kind; wear deodorant.
  4. Fetish play costs extra If you’ve got a fetish you’d like a dancer to indulge in the champagne room, understand that you will need to pay extra.
  5. Don’t cum in your pants
If you are going to cum, please give the dancer a heads up (pun intended!) beforehand. It’s not polite to have her sit in your jizz without a warning.
  6. Respect the strippers
These women are mothers, daughters, sisters, students, future surgeons, you name it. They need to be treated with respect.
