Many fans speculated that the same-sex sequence would be shared by Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and Finn (John Boyega), but Abrams quickly shot that idea down during an interview with Variety. LGBTQ folks are very pleased to see a same-sex relationship in a galaxy far, far away.
