Gwyneth Paltrow Now Sells Bondage Gear

BDSM has officially gone mainstream with Goop’s latest endorsement. That’s right, Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand is going 50 Shades of Goop. The website wants to help its readers live out their dom-sub fantasies by selling exorbitantly-priced lingerie that are “what BDSM fantasies are made of.” Pieces include a nude leather bra ($312), matching leather thong ($318) and black studded flogger ($240).

The bra and underwear set are handmade in England out of saddle leather and feature “orgasmic O-ring detailing” that make them “prepped for full speed ahead.” The whip, meanwhile, is “perfect for play” and features a studded handle and 16 leather tails. According to the site: “The edgy studs, while aesthetically pleasing, serve a functional purpose — making it extra comfortable to grip. So, you might imagine it’s pleasing in other ways too.”

Showtime Airs New Show About LA’s Most Exclusive Sex Club

The show follows the club’s founder as he hosts masquerades, private soirees, and erotic classes for the rich and famous. Annual membership costs between $12,000 and $75,000 for members to enjoy burlesque, erotic theater, and BDSM play.

The dress code is black-tie with men in tuxedos and women in either evening attire or lingerie. Privacy is extremely important—cell phones are banned and everyone is required to wear masks on entry. The club’s founder said some members attend parties to learn “how to give better [pleasure]” while others see it as a place “for primal urges to be explored.”

‘Fifty Shades’ Star Banned From Press Tour For Talking About Nipple Clamps

Marcia Gay Harden—who stars in the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel as the mother of sexy bad boy Christian Grey—was reportedly banned by the film’s PR team from getting too raunchy in promotional interviews. Considering the film is based on a smutty erotica novel, the decision came as quite a shock to fans, including Harden herself. According to the actress, she sent out “some naughty little tweets” about nipple clamps that the press tour deemed too racy for the film.

Harden told the Sun, “I’m a good girl, I fell in line. Because [this film is] supposed to be more about the ‘romance.’” But that didn’t stop her from sharing her tweet: it included a picture of a sex toy, and read, “‘Dear Christian, thank you so much for that lovely bracelet under the Christmas tree. Perhaps it wasn’t meant for me. Uh Oh, Fifty Shades Darker’s New Trailer Is Here
