New Sexting Study Explores Why Women Send Nudes

A survey conducted by the University of Nebraska asked women why they send nudes, eliciting a complex range of responses on the subject. Some women say they send the sexy shots as a power move: “I wanted to exert a sense of power over the men I sent nudes to; I could make them desire me and they would do anything to get a picture,” one participant said. Still others said the sultry sharing was simply “to feel sexually aroused.”

“Pressure” was one response, as was “being repeatedly asked for it until you gave in,” along with lighter answers such as “to be fun or flirtatious” and “as a sexy present for someone.” But the most common—selected by 35.3%—was “relationship norm expectation.” The study’s authors say, “We find that women are not thoughtlessly sending images of their bodies to others, but rather are acutely aware of their motivations.”

Sexting And Nudes Are On The Rise During Quarantine

Twitter has a sexy new motto to live by: “Tomorrow isn’t promised, send nudes today.” It seems stay-at-home-orders has made people hornier than ever before, which means they’re sexting like crazy. Terms like “nudes” and “dick pics” tweeted alongside “coronavirus” jumped up 384 percent on Twitter from the beginning of March to April, according to data.

The peach emoji saw a 46 percent spike, and they predicted the use of the peach and eggplant emojis will continue to rise. There’s also scientific research that one in five people (from a sample of around 1,200) reported a “new addition” to their sex life since the pandemic began. “New addition” means something they’ve never tried before—the most common are sexting and sending a nude photo.

Nearly Half Of Americans Claim They Had The Best Sex Of Their Life In 2019

white-1822497_640Forty-four percent of people rate 2019 as their best year for sex yet—with 79 percent saying they are happy with their sex lives—according to new research. The poll of 2,000 sexually-active Americans also discovered nearly half (47 percent) say their sex life was better in 2019 than in 2018. This is because Americans were more interested in experimenting, with one in six trying phone sex and another 29 percent using a sex toy for the first time.

Participants were more adventurous with sex: they tried anal sex, handcuffs and blindfolds, and sexting for the first time. One in five had sex in a car for the very first time while another one in six engaged in roleplay. But just because 2019 was a great year for sex doesn’t mean Americans are going to stop experimenting in 2020: 74 percent of those surveyed are hoping to be more sexually adventurous next year.

Study Finds Three Main Motivations For Sexting

Sexting has become commonplace among frisky partners—but a new study finds it might not be all about sex. Researchers found that two-thirds of people who send erotic messages aren’t sexting for sexual reasons. A study revealed that people engage in sexting for three main reasons: as foreplay, to gain reassurance in the relationship, or with the expectation the favor will be returned in a non-sexual way, such as a dinner date.

The study, conducted by a team at the Texas Tech University Department of Psychological Sciences, began by investigating what people’s motives are for sending erotic messages. To their surprise, they discovered three nearly equal clusters, suggesting no motivation is more common than another. “It was intriguing that two-thirds of the individuals who engaged in sexting did so for non-sexual purposes,” said one of the study’s authors. “This study highlighted the main reasons to date that individuals are motivated to sext, and it actually normalizes all three types of motivations,” the author added.

People Are Now Sexting In Google Docs

Image Source: Flickr.com | User: slushpupIt seems there’s an exciting new sexting trend: Google Docs. Horny couples are using the internet giant’s cloud-based word-processing service to send flirty notes and X-rated images. Lovers typically share a single document and exchange messages both in the main body of text and using the in-line comment function.

One long-distance couple explained the appeal of the digital document they shared called ‘Bedtime Stories‘: “It’s very fun and fantasy-filled . . . Sometimes we just link to erotica we like.” While it’s a new and exciting way to sext, fans of doing it warn it can be risky: “You have to be careful about notifications. Otherwise you risk having sexy quotes from Doc updates pop up on your screen at inopportune times.”

Boomerang Nude GIFs Are The Latest Sexting Trend

http---distractify-media-prod.cdn.bingo-2001096-980xForget about dick pics—now it’s all about dick GIFs. According to the internet, sending Boomeranged solicited nudes is the latest sexting trend. And it’s not just dick pics: there’s also butt GIFs, boob GIFs, and a veritable buffet of moving nudity.

A nude Boomerang offers something that a pic does not: a flirty bit of movement. Boomerang—an Instagram owned app—allows users to create “mini-videos” by capturing 10 photos and sticking them together to create a looping GIF. You can use the app to create Boomerangs without sharing them publicly and you can save them to your phone and send them via a messaging app. As one user says, Boomeranged nude GIFs are “like the flirty wink of nudes.”

Jeff Bezos’ Sext Is Now A Meme

ombinedJeff Bezos is much better at running a billion dollar empire than he is at sexting. According to the National Enquirer, Bezos sexted this to news anchor Lauren Sanchez: “I love you, alive girl. I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.” The horny, strange sexts sparked some very creative memes from the internet.

As one Twitter user said, “Jeff Bezos sexts like he’s an AI in a human suit.” Another tweet asked, “which version is worse though: ‘I love you, ALIVE GIRL’; ‘I love you ALIVE, girl’; ‘I love you, a LIVE GIRL.’?” But perhaps the most, ahem, on-the-nose tweet: “just got a sext from jeff bezos reading: “i’ll be over soon with my eyes, nose, mouth, head, body, legs, neck, ears, fingers and of course blood. Xx’ fuckin hot SHIT!!!”

How To Sext Like A Pro

NiteFlirt_best_Phone _Sex_Sara cell phone picWhen it comes to sexting, there’s a fine line between sexy and cringey. It’s just one of those things you’re expected to figure out as you go along, which isn’t always easy. Here are some tips on how to up your sexting game and avoid some awkward conversations.

  1. Don’t be a dead-weight sexting partner.Questions are a good jumping off point, but you don’t want to get to the point where you’re only asking questions and making the other person do all the work. “Oh, yeah. And then what…?” is only good at first.
  2. Start by talking about the last time you had sex or some other hot memory.“How hot was last night?” is always a good way to get things going.
  3. Don’t skimp on the details. As BuzzFeed says, “Tell me exactly where your hands, lips, etc. are gonna go, and what they’re gonna do.”
  4. Ease into it. Sexting needs foreplay too.Start slow. Teasing is all part of the fun.
  5. Never show your face. It’s always good to take the necessary precautions.
  6. Also never send unsolicited nudes. No unsolicited dick pics, guys.
  7. Use Boomerang to make sexy GIFs.The only thing better than a sexy video is a sexy GIF.
  8. Or send voice notes with WhatsApp.It’s always so much hotter to hear each other’s voices.
  9. Ask your partner about their fantasies. Then you can bring them up in a sext.
  10. Set the mood.Even though sexting in your PJ’s and pretending to be naked is fine, it’s really fun to light candles and set a romantic mood, too.
  11. Go easy on the emojis. Not the time and place for cute symbols. Use words, people!

Sexting Is Now a Normal Part Of Most Relationships, Study Says

SextingAccording to a massive new study on sex and tech, sexting is now a normal part of human relationships. The Kinsey Institute released an International Sex Survey which revealed a whopping 67 percent of people worldwide exchange erotic electronic messages with their lovers. “Sexting may be becoming a new, but typical, step in a sexual or romantic relationship,” one researcher said.

Among the 140,000 people surveyed from 198 countries, Americans are among the most amorous on the planet, with 74 percent saying they sext. South Africans are next in line for the most prolific sexters, although Japan and South Korea are the least likely countries to trade racy messages and videos. “An old-school text message is still the most common way for people over 18 to transmit their salacious thoughts, with 65 percent of Americans saying they’ve sent sexy SMSes, while only 38 percent used Snapchat,” reports NY Post. Oh, the joys of sext!

MAIN-Grindr-emojisGrindr has a solution for all those thirsty gay guys who were worried they were being too subtle with the eggplant emoji: ‘gaymojis’! The gay dating app’s custom gay emojis is adding a special way for naughty dudes to flirt. The kinky cartoons are explicit and varied enough for users to really, ahem, experiment with.

There’s handcuffs, a banana hammock, a guy on the top bunk and a guy on the bottom bunk, and even a pierced eggplant!
