New iPhone Device Lets You Send a Kiss Long Distance 

24503004315_94fb07d7e3_zThe new iPhone just got a lot more stimulating with the Messages’ Digital Touch tool, “Kissenger.” Kissenger lets you send a virtual kiss to your lover with sensations from the device’s Taptic Engine. This means that with the Kissenger iPhone attachment, you can literally share a kiss with another—even if you’re thousands of miles apart!

All you have to do is press your lips to a silicon pad attached to the bottom of your iPhone and your partner can actually feel the sensation on their own case. As Daily Dot explains, “When you kiss the pad, which is outfitted with force sensors, the device’s app logs the sensation, transmits it to your partner’s device, and then recreates it. They can put it to their cheek, lips, or wherever to feel your kiss.” While it’s perhaps the most PG advancement in the exciting field of teledildonics—and there’s definitely a need to adapt the technology to, ahem, other areas where long distance lovers would want to feel contact—the device is a sweet way to simulate a kiss with someone you’re missing. Studies Reveal The Link Between Sex Drive and Birth Control 

Two studies published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine finally put to bed the myth that birth control can kill a woman’s sex drive. While it’s true that some women do experience a lower sex drive on the Pill, researchers concluded that several factors are more important when it comes to a woman’s libido. Researchers focused on women in long-term, monogamous, heterosexual relationships, and measured their desire for solo sex versus their desire for sex with a partner to see how their relationship choices affected their sex drive in conjunction with being on birth control.

The study found that women on non-hormonal birth control had a higher solitary sex drive and that women on hormonal birth control had a higher desire for sex with a partner. It also found that, “while birth control did have an effect on sex drive for some women, relationship length and age were much stronger predictors of sexual desire than the type of contraception a woman was on,” reports Bustle. Researchers admit that drawing conclusions about women’s desire can be tricky, but that the study ultimately “sheds light on how different types of contraception can affect our sexual appetite and desire.”

Uber’s New Guidelines Bans Flirting and Sex

It tells both riders and drivers alike, “please don’t comment on someone’s appearance or ask whether they are single. … And don’t touch or flirt with other people in the car.” The ban is an attempt to deter the unwanted sexual attention women often report about Uber drivers.

Now, according to the Uber terms, drivers and riders could get banned from the service for “asking overly personal questions, and making comments or gestures that are aggressive, sexual, discriminatory, or disrespectful.” It expressly forbids all sexual contact between drivers and passengers, even after a ride is over, “no matter what.” The anti-flirting guideline may help curb harassment and creepy situations for women, such as the incident a Boston.com reporter described where a driver offered her oral sex and locked the doors to keep her from getting out. Hey, creepy Uber dudes: harassment is not flirting—and it’s definitely not sexy.

Eve users living in St. Louis had more sex than women in any other city in the US. Eve also found that Aquarius women had the most sex, and that 62% talked to their partners about their sexual histories. Using a questionnaire, researchers collected data from 36,564 people in Slovakia and the Czech Republic—741 of whom were infected—and found that people with toxoplasmosis “expressed higher attraction to bondage, violence, zoophilia, fetishism, and, in men, also to masochism, and raping and being raped.” The study’s lead author said that the parasite “succeeds in using the fact that sex-related stimuli and fear-related stimuli affect very similar circuits in the brain.
