Sex Tech Dominated CES 2020

71xB2L7SEiL._SY450_One year after CES banned and revoked the Innovation Award in Robotics given to Lora DiCarlo’s women’s pleasure device, the Consumer Technology Association officially agreed to allow sex tech onto the show floor—and sex tech companies didn’t disappoint. Innovations from the sexual health and wellness category breathed new life into CES, and helped to destigmatize sexual wellness. There was “Satisfyer,” making some of the greatest advancements in women’s pleasure unimaginably affordable and accessible.

“Morari Medical” showed off a wearable prototype that uses neuromodulation to solve premature ejaculation. “Come Play” not only brought a new couple’s vibrator with a revolutionary design aimed at solving age-old issues, but also announced an incubator model with toy company Doc Johnson to support more innovation in sex tech. “We’re just happy that we’re here and have been accepted as legitimate tech. And, honestly that we’re also being used as kind of a draw for CES,” said one of the sex tech innovators showing at CES.

New Sex Toy Lets You Experience a Porn Star’s Every Thrust in 3-D

meet_the_product

The new sex toy the “eJaculator” is promising to take virtual sex to the next level. Not only will you be able to watch porn in 3-D, but with this device you’d actually be able to feel the porn star’s every movement as if it were really happening. The eJaculator’s creator said, “What you see is what you feel. Whether that is a guy moving in and out of a girl or a woman jumping on top of the guy.”

The eJaculator works by downloading an app onto a smartphone and then using a special headset to allow the viewer to see custom porn scenes specially for them. There’s also a masturbation sleeve (in shapes like mouths, anuses and even extraterrestrial sex organs!) that is synced up with the headset, which lets the user feel the physical sensations projected on the screen. The eJaculator’s sex tech team are currently working to create porn POV content that will work with the sex toy—and if that sounds challenging, that’s because it is. They’ll need to figure out how to synchronize the masturbation sleeve’s movements to a porn star’s thrusts, bumps and grinds. But thankfully, the ambitious team is confident they can do it within a year or two.

Looking for a realistic, pleasurable experience? You don’t need a special headset and 360-degree cameras for that—we’ve got everything you need right here!

Introducing Teledildonics: Computer-Enhanced Dildos

Andrew Quitmeyer is putting his PhD in digital media from Georgia Tech to good use—he’s designing the next big thing in dildos: teledildonics. Teledildonics is the latest in sex toys that use computers to open up a whole new world of possibilities. His newest invention, “the Mod,” is an “open source” sex toy that can be synced to any smartphone apps, remote controls, and even your own heart rate!

“You can program it to be anything,” Quitmeyer said of the Mod’s exciting operating system called the Dilduino. The Mod is currently being crowd funded on Indiegogo, and has raised $60,000 from eager would-be customers. The products have gotten a lot of attention for their bizarre, innovative, and some-what intimidating designs, but they also represent what many are calling the new wave in sex toys. The Mod is shaped like a big, smooth finger, is made from silicone, and comes complete with three vibrating motors and a completely rechargeable USB-battery. “Sex tech needs to be opened up,” Quitmeyer said. “People’s sexuality is super specific and weird. I don’t want people to have general sex. I want them to have the weird, specific, crazy, kinky dragon sex of their dreams.”

Feel like having the weird, kinky sex of your dreams? We are all about exciting new ways of getting off here!
