Sex Sells At Brooklyn’s ‘Slutty Vegan’ Restaurant

A raunchy new restaurant in NYC has customers’ mouths watering. Slutty Vegan, a provocative, plant-based food concept, orders up sexy, cheekily named meals. The naughty chain was launched in Atlanta by a restaurateur who began with the goal of re-imagining how people view vegan food, wrapping it up in a playful, risqué bow.

Slutty Vegan serves banana pudding in a paper cup with the name Happy Ending, while the Ménage à Trois, a burger loaded with vegan bacon, shrimp, cheese and the house’s signature Slut Sauce is a sizzling hot seller. Customers can also enjoy the One Night Stand burger (with vegan bacon, cheese and caramelized onions) and a Fussy Hussy (vegan cheese, onions and pickle). Best of all, the workers shout “Order up, slut!” to hungry customers.

Colombian Sex Workers Launch A Newspaper

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_financial_domination“Sex sells” is the slogan of a newspaper started by sex workers in Colombia. La Esquina, or “The Corner,” has been “flying off the shelves” since it first got started. It’s made by and for sex workers in Bogotá’s red light district, and is both distributed as a regular newspaper and laminated and plastered on the district’s walls for sex workers to read while they wait for clients.

“People think it is really cool,” staff member Lorena Daza told the Guardian. “I thought to myself, ‘Is anybody actually going to read this?’, but they do, and they like it.” The paper is funded by two local non-profits and is mostly produced by transgender sex workers who hope to “start a positive project in the neighborhood.” La Esquina covers a range of topics—everything from gossip and affordable recipes to hard-hitting features on trans issues. Right on, La Esquina!

Food Truck Sells Sex Toys Along with Food

You’ve heard of a happy meal, but one food truck entrepreneur has thought of the ultimate after-meal treat for his adult clients. Along with selling hotdogs, chips, and soda, the Indiana food truck is generating lots of buzz for also selling sex toys! Kwan Dixon, who owns and operates Pop’s Popcorn and Koosier Daddy’s Food Cart, is keeping business lively because he knows one very important rule: “sex sells.”

“Is sex selling in Evansville? Yeah! More peace. More kids. More peace. It will settle everybody down,” said Dixon. So far, just as Dixon predicted, sex toy sales have boosted food sales as well: “You got to have something afterwards,” he explained. Unfortunately, not everyone in the small Indiana town is pleased by Dixon’s business model, and recently the food truck was shut down because Dixon did not declare that he’d be selling sex toys as well as food. But Dixon isn’t fazed—he knows all publicity is good publicity, and he fully intends to keep putting the “buzz in your life.”
