‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Sean Bean Says Intimacy Coordinators ‘Spoil’ Sex Scenes

“Game of Thrones” star Sean Bean claims intimacy coordinators on set “spoil the spontaneity” of a sex scene. In an interview, Bean said an intimacy coordinator personally “inhibits [him] more.” “I should imagine it slows down the thrust of it. Ha, not the thrust, that’s the wrong word,” Bean said.

“Somebody saying, ‘Do this, put your hand there, while you touch his thing …’” the actor added. “I think the natural way lovers behave would be ruined by someone bringing it right down to a technical exercise.” He compared his experiences with intimacy coordinators to his time filming the 1993 adaptation of “Lady Chatterley’s Lover.” He shared, “‘Lady Chatterley’ was spontaneous. It was joy. We had a good chemistry between us, and we knew what we were doing was unusual. Because she was married, I was married. But we were following the story.”

‘Bridgerton’ Stars Reveal Behind-The-Scenes Techniques For Sex Scenes

There are new tricks to the trade, according to the season 2 stars of “Bridgerton.” The leading man, Jonathan Bailey, recently revealed what goes into the show’s infamously streamy sex scenes. “It’s amazing how that whole industry has just come on, even in a year. There are new tricks to the trade—little cushions—and it’s amazing what you can do with a half-inflated netball.”

Meanwhile, Simone Ashley, who stars as Kate, said that she wasn’t nervous about all the sex and nudity. “I’ve always been really confident in my sexuality and in my body. Like most, there were years where I was insecure and in my head about myself, but I’ve learnt to really have fun with it, enjoy myself, and love myself more.” She added, “We were in a very safe environment and we worked with an incredible intimacy coordinator who encouraged us to portray what it is for the female character to experience pleasure.”

Intimacy Coordinator Reveals What Happens When Actors Get Aroused While Filming

It might not shock you to hear that many actors get aroused while filming sex scenes. Arousal is very normal, as the actors “are going through the physical and the mind, so yeah, it happens,” an intimacy coordinator recently said in an interview. “Just making it really clear that’s normal and that the worst thing you can do is carry on,” he revealed, adding that coordinators should be clear that, “Hey, this can happen.”

He added that a “time-out” is called for the stars to collect themselves. “The worst thing we can do is gawk or make it a massive deal,” he continued. The star of Netflix’s Bridgerton said her intimacy coordinator helped her with many of the show’s racy sex scenes: “We did the intimate scenes like stunts—we blocked them out, so you have yoga balls in between you and all sorts of things that never make you feel exposed in any way.”

Lily James Defends ‘Essential’ Pam & Tommy Sex Scenes

Lily James understands the secret to Pam & Tommy‘s success: sex. James is defending the steamy sex scenes in her new series about Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s infamous sex tape. The actress insists they are “essential” to the script of the eight-part drama Pam & Tommy.

In one racy scene, the pair are shown laughing and spraying champagne all over each other’s naked bodies. She said in a recent interview: “We really felt that the sex scenes had to be a part of the story and had to be essential to the script and progressing their relationship and looking at what happened.” Pam & Tommy follows the story of the leak of the couple’s sex tape in 1997, and the fall out for the sex symbol and her rocker lover when their X-rated moments spread across the world.

‘Game of Thrones’ Sex Scenes Were A ‘Mess,’ Actress Gemma Whelan Reveals

Turns out those wild sex scenes on “Game of Thrones” were actually pretty wild on-set, too. Actress Gemma Whelan who played Yara Greyjoy—and starred in many a GoT sex scene—recently revealed what it was really like shooting the show’s infamous sex scenes. Whelan said the cast were excellent at confirming consent and taking care of each other, despite often going off of limited direction.

“They used to just say, ‘When we shout action, go for it!,’ and it could be a sort of frenzied mess,” Whelan told the Guardian. “There was a scene in a brothel with a woman and she was so exposed that we talked together about where the camera would be and what she was happy with. A director might say, ‘Bit of boob biting, then slap her bum and go!,’ but I’d always talk it through with the other actor.” She added that actors were “almost literally” simply left to get it on with each other.

Cristin Milioti Discusses Her ’20 Orgasms’ In Made For Love

Cristin Milioti works hard to perfect her craft—which also involves perfecting her orgasms. The star of the HBO show “Made For Love” did a roundtable with other actresses, discussing on-screen sex scenes. Milioti talked about the pilot episode, where she was getting head from her husband—with the camera zoomed-in on her Big O face.

“They had me do, like, 20 orgasms,” Milioti said. “They had a camera right here [right up to her face] and they were like, ‘Great, now do an orgasm like it’s real. Now do it like you’re faking it for him. Now do it like you want it…’” Other actresses weighed in on the sex-scenes they’ve done: Aidy Bryant talked about confronting body image issues in intimate scenes, while Kaley Cuoco discussed awkwardly hovering over a man she was pretending to fuck. Bridgerton’s Racy Sex Scenes Are On Porn Sites

Netflix is fighting to keep raunchy sex scenes from Bridgerton off porn websites. The streaming site said it is “working tirelessly to hunt down pirates” who uploaded the fuck-fests. Many of the scenes have already been taken down from X-rated platforms after the cast complained when seeing them online.

An insider revealed: “Bridgerton’s sex scenes appearing alongside some of the most obscene material the web has to offer has sparked horror and anger.” The lead actress has spoken in support of the sex scenes, telling E News!: “It’s so important for the journey of the characters to see those scenes. They’re there to tell this story of this sort of sexual awakening that Daphne is having, and I think that’s so important for her story particularly.”

‘Bad Sex In Fiction’ Award Canceled For 2020

The judges of the annual Bad Sex in Fiction award decided to spare readers this year from the usual cringeworthy passages. It seems fictional bad sex is just too much for folks to handle in the hellish coronavirus pandemic-stricken year of 2020. The judges of the annual prize “felt that the public had been subjected to too many bad things this year to justify exposing it to bad sex as well,” the magazine said.

“With lockdown regulations giving rise to all manner of novel sexual practices, the judges anticipate a rash of entries next year. Authors are reminded that cybersex and other forms of home entertainment fall within the purview of this award,” a spokesperson for the judges said in a statement. “Scenes set in fields, parks or back yards, or indoors with the windows open and fewer than six people present will not be exempt from scrutiny either,” the spokesperson added. Since 1993, the Bad Sex in Fiction Award has honored the year’s “most outstandingly awful scene of sexual description in an otherwise good novel”—past winners include Tom Wolfe and Morrissey.

Movie Sex Scenes Will Be Replaced With CGI To Cut Coronavirus Risk

It seems digital sex is all the rage these days—just ask Hollywood. As Tinseltown prepares to reopen,  on-set sexual distancing protocols are beginning to be laid out—including animated fucking. The film editors’ trade association has released a 22-page file dictating how “close contact moments” should be “either rewritten, abandoned” or replaced with computer-generated imagery (CGI) to minimize spreading COVID-19 while filming.

The new rules were presented to the governors of New York and California recently as evidence that Hollywood is ready for “action” (no pun intended). Studios are also considering implementing tactics long utilized in the world of the porn, including rigorous testing and a database that lists who is clean and available for work. “The challenges for sports, for Hollywood and the porn industry are all different, but in reality, we each have things we can learn from each other,” says the rep for the Free Speech Coalition, a trade association for the US adult entertainment industry.

7 Sex Stories That Are Both Hilarious and Cringeworthy

LetsTalkSexSometimes it’s possible for sex to be both hilarious and horrifying. And these real sex stories definitely check both boxes. Here are the most cringeworthy sex horror stories from BuzzFeed readers (check out more below).

  1. The cum stain“I was on top of my boyfriend, jerking him off. He came all over himself and we cleaned everything. That afternoon I went to my grandma’s house, and it was only when sitting all together with my family that I noticed that some of his cum had shot onto my black shirt. I then had to go run some errands with my boyfriend with a cum-stained shirt.” Lots of stares!
  2. The blizzard “We started having no-blankets-on, bare-ass-naked sex, and all of the sudden I heard a ‘WOAH guys!’My grandpa was standing in the doorway holding two Blizzards. We scurried under the blankets, he walked over, handed us the Blizzards, and left.” Thanks for the refreshments, grandpa!
  3. Vacation sex gone wrong“My (former) boyfriend and I started fooling around while we were in one of those huge two-people hammocks while on vacation in Mexico. Mid-romp, the hammock busted and I fell, shoulder first, into the tree stump under the hammock net. I spent two days in a Mexican community hospital and left Mexico with a fractured arm, no tan, and enough shame to last a lifetime.” Wah wah wah.
  4. Jaw-dropping pussy eating“I was hooking up with my brother’s friend, and he started going down on me, getting ~really~ into it. When he finally came up for air, he tried to say something but literally couldn’t speak! He couldn’t move his jaw! I had to call an ambulance and the doctor had to yank his jaw back into place.” Now that’ssome enthusiastic head!
  5. The quick clean-up“I once had sex in a changing room at the mall. When we finished, there was a *mess* on the floor. We had nothing with us to clean it up, so I hope no one bought the jacket we used on the floor.” You fuck it you bought it?
  6. The unexpected queef“Everything was hot and steamy and romantic while hooking up with my boyfriend…until I let out a huge queef on his dick. While he was inside me. It sounded like a deflated balloon.” Whoops!
  7. The Jaws (sex) scene“We were going for round two in the early morning the next day, only for him to look down and see a bunch of blood. My period had came a week early. After showering, and laying in bed, my boyfriend said, ‘It was like a shark attacked my dick!’” Nothing like a good horror movie to set the mood!
