It’s the latest entry in adult film studio Wicked Pictures’ line of X-rated educational videos, which attempts to shift “how we view senior sex.” The directors say their intent is to “showcase intimacy with older people in a sex-positive light, instead of the usual novelty you see in conventional pornography.”

One of the seniors to feature in the film explains that she wants older folks to “understand that sex can, in many ways, be better than ever.” That might mean accepting the need for supportive pillows or the assistance of sex toys, since “sex might not feel or look the way it did when our hormone rush propelled us into jet-steam sex.” The directors want to show that aging puts some constraints on sex, but it can also put people in touch with communication, creativity, authenticity: “At our age, sex won’t happen unless we have these ideas about how to communicate about it and how to compensate for physical issues and how to talk about sex and how to have sex that isn’t just penetrative sex,” says Price.

The First Ever Comic Written By and About a Stripper

Drawn & Quarterly published a 350-page collection of her comics, Melody: Story of a Nude Dancer. The stories, originally written in French with a bold black-and-white style, depicted the life of a nude dancer in a refreshingly realistic way. Melody and the other dancers in the comic love their bodies and get naked without shame or judgement. There’s also a lot of humor, showing how the life of a stripper is full of greedy bosses, needy customers and, at the end of the day, hustling to make a buck.
