Pornhub Launches First-Ever Sex Education Video Series

Pornhub is finally putting its money where it’s mouth is by taking action to provide proper sex education. Mainstream porn is not sex education—it’s a fantasy factory with the sole purpose of turning a profit. Unfortunately, there are many problems with people mistaking what they see in adult entertainment as real-life sex.

That’s why Pornhub is attempting to bridge the gap between porn and actual sex ed with their first-ever sex education video series. The series launched via Pornhub’s Sexual Wellness Center, where the porn site includes videos covering a range of topics, from communication to preparing for sex to STIs. All of the series’s first 11 videos are narrated by licensed sex therapists and PhDs; they also show real anatomy and human examples to provide accuracy and dispel sex myths, according to Pornhub’s press release.

5 Secrets Sex Shop Workers Want You To Know

via Wikipedia

Let’s face it, sex shop workers have a wealth of knowledge. They’ve seen it all and they’ve heard it all about the latest, kinkiest, best sex toys out of there. Here are 5 secrets they want you to know.

  1. No matter how wacky you think your kink or fetish is, they’ve had folks request it before
You might think you’re all alone on Planet Kinkster, but there’s nothing sex shop workers haven’t heard before. “We hear, ‘Am I normal for wanting ___?’ all the time, and as long as whatever you’re doing or want to do is between two consenting adults or a solo activity, the answer is absolutely!”
  2. If there’s something new you want to try but don’t know where to start, just ask
Whether it’s BDSM, a fisting toy, or getting info about anal play, always ask the sexperts.
  3. Be prepared to share
“We are experts on the products we sell and you are the expert on your body, so together, we can work together to find a product you’ll really love.” Perfect!
  4. They’re not nymphomaniacs and they don’t have after-hour orgies
While they might know a thing or two about local parties and scenes, the stereotype that all sex shop workers are hyper-sexual is just not true…for everyone.
  5. A lot of shops have classes you can take advantage of
Think of it like sex ed—that’s actually helpful! They cover pleasure-based sexual education to help you discover what really turns you on.

Want to discover what gets you really hot? We offer a hands-on sexual education at NiteFlirt!

Porn Site Reroutes Utah Traffic To Sex Ed Videos

LetsTalkSexThe popular porn site xHamster has the perfect response to Utah lawmaker’s recent decision to reject a bill that would have offered parents the choice of opting their children into comprehensive sex ed as an alternative to abstinence-only education: it’s sending traffic to the site from Utah to sex ed videos! “Beginning immediately, we’re rerouting all xHamster traffic from Utah to our comprehensive sex ed series, The Box,” said xHamster. “We’ve been working on The Box since last year, producing videos based on questions submitted by porn viewers.”

Utahans are being served with a popup reading, “Can we turn the thirstiest state in the nation into the smartest?” (A 2009 report found that Utah ranked No. 1 in subscriptions to porn sites.) Visitors redirected to the not at all explicit The Box can find videos like “the secret to anal sex” and ask questions like “How do you have an orgasm” instead of getting an eyeful of porn. As the site explained, “While we love porn, we don’t think that it should be relied on for sex ed any more than Star Wars is a substitute for science class.” May the force be with you, xHamster.

Looking for something explicit yourself? We give the best hands-on sex education this side of Utah!

Porn Star Kayden Kross Reveals Whether Dick Size Matters

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_teenypenisAward-winning adult film star Kayden Kross recently sat down with NYLON to answer the million dollar question: does dick size really matter? Kayden has starred in 144 X-rated films—and once quipped that “30 million eyeballs have interacted with my butthole”—so she seems uniquely qualified to answer this hotly debated question. Her answer? Yes and no.

Yes, it can make a difference when it comes to partner pairings. She says, “It matters to partners who find very large penises uncomfortable, or who are only looking for girth, or who feel that their cervixes are under constant attack, or who feel that nothing has been penetrated until their cervix has.” But besides finding a good dick match, no, dick size really doesn’t matter that much. In fact, she explains that since women’s nerve endings are mostly on the outside (the clit) and not as much inside the vaginal canal, “you could make her come with just the smallest tip of your finger and absolutely no penetration whatsoever.” You hear that, men? Learn how to make a woman cum with just the tip of your finger and you have nothing to worry about!

New York Public Hospitals Use Emojis To Reach Youth About Sex

New York‘s public hospitals have come up with a brilliant way to talk about sex with youth: emojis! Soon, peach and eggplant emojis will start to pop up on young people’s Facebook feeds with the words “Need to talk to someone about ‘it’?” And a monkey with his hand over his mouth will offer advice on how to get confidential emergency contraception.

“The social media posts are part of a campaign by NYC Health & Hospitals to reach young people ages 12 to 21 and encourage them to seek confidential care for sexual and reproductive health, like testing for sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy, at one of the 20 YouthHealth centers across the five boroughs,” reports The New York Times. The campaign is also trying to eliminate all barriers to seeking out sexual health services, such as immigrant status, sexual orientation, ability to pay, and it’s all completely confidential—things young people often aren’t aware of when deciding if they should seek out health care. The campaign found that kids don’t usually turn to their parents for information about sex—while the emojis were a very effective way of bringing up the “birds and the bees.” After all, the language of (sexual) emojis is universal!

Italian Porn Legend Advocates For Better Sex Ed

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_disneyprincesLegendary porn star Rocco “Italian Stallion” Siffredi, who’s best known as a champion of rough and dirty adult entertainment before it went mainstream, is turning his attention to something a bit more serious than Buttman’s Big Tit Adventure 3: educating kids about sex. The 51-year-old adult entertainer, who James Deen once called his idol, is spearheading a Change.org petition calling for better sex education in his native Italy. Siffredi knows all too well the dangers of young men learning about sex from watching his infamous scene where he fucks a woman in the ass while plunging her head into a toilet and flushing it.

“Pornography should be entertainment, but for lack of alternatives has become a learning tool, especially among young people,” the petition begins. Siffredi made a name for himself when he started doing “rougher stuff.” His business partner explains that Siffredi got popular when “He started to spit on girls. A strong male-dominant thing, with women being pushed to their limit.” Now, he wants to educate young people about the differences between adult entertainment and real-life sex. The petition was launched on Global Orgasm Day, and has already received almost 31,000 signatures. Here’s hoping the “Italian Stallion” can get as many supporters for his important cause as he gets for his head-in-toilet anal-sex scenes!

Study Shows Condoms Don’t Make Men Lose Their Boners

losnupoHave you ever blamed a condom for making you lose your boner? Well, new evidence shows the condom is not the culprit after all. A study that surveyed around 500 straight guys aged 18-24 found that the ones who thought the condom was making them go soft were more likely to be suffering from general erectile dysfunction regardless of whether they used a condom or not. It seems the problem isn’t physical but psychological.

One 24-year old thought the condom was making him lose sensitivity, which in turn made him lose his erection—and that only added to the pressure and self-consciousness he felt to perform. One researcher of the study explained, “men who first experience loss of erection when they use condoms might worry about [difficulty] experiencing erections more generally and hence be more vulnerable [to erectile problems].” To make matters worse, a third of the participants didn’t know how to properly put on a condom: “They’re a struggle to put on, especially after a few drinks, and then usually end up inside out, so have to be reapplied by which time either you’ve gone floppy or it’s just horrendously awkward and the moment is lost,” the 24-year old said. Well, besides de-villainizing condoms, this study proves one thing for sure: the importance and need for better sexual education.

John Oliver Schools the Nation in Sex Ed

LetsTalkSexOn a recent episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the host dedicated the show to an important and often glossed over (or blatantly ignored) subject in school: sex education. With the massive problem of abstinence only education and educators’ choosing to shame and moralize to students instead of actually teaching them about sex, John Oliver decided to conduct his own sex ed crash course. And as you can imagine, it is not just any sex ed course, but the ultimate sex ed course complete with hilarious celebrity videos (check them out below).

John Oliver, in his characteristic way, pointed out that only 13 states require sex ed to be scientifically accurate in America. This means that states and individuals can decide how to teach the important lessons of sex ed to youth—which often results in teaching it in a way that condemns sex as an act that devalues those engaging in it, especially women. Enter: hilarious celebrities making a sex ed video. Their message is simple: it’s your choice, and people should respect it. Abstinence or not, be safe, use protection, know and respect what consent is, and be informed of medical facts. Now that’s good sex ed!

Feel like taking a sex ed crash course with us? We have the facts and the experience right here!
