Guys Try Tinder For the First Time

In Buzzfeed’s new video, guys try Tinder for the first time and experience all the quirks of trying to find romance on a dating app. Here are some highlights.

“This person’s kissing another person. I don’t know what that means…” says one confused new-comer. Another guy isn’t sure why a woman is sucking her finger provocatively while eating a croissant, other than that seems cool: “I’m down to eat croissants!” In another sexually suggestive picture, you just see “boobs and there’s like a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.” After scrolling through the seemingly endless selfies, confusing pics of people and their friends (“I have no clue which one you are.”), options to view “Tinder Plus,” (whatever that is) and accidental swipes right, one astute newbie says, “this feels like shopping for people.” Except with more boobs, of course.

Whiplr is the New App for Kinksters

Are you into apps like Tinder that help you get laid with no strings attached, but have been longing for something, well, a little more kink friendly? If so, we have good news for you. Whiplr is a new app that is specially for those who want to have kinky sex. “The idea came from within the kink community. There simply wasn’t a mobile app for people to find and connect with other people into fetish and kink,” said Whiplr’s Chief Communications Officer, Daniel Sevitt.

Whiplr came on the scene just this year and right in time for Valentine’s Day. And since it’s so new, it’s still gaining users (time to sign up, kinky horny people!). It’s also location based, like Grindr, which means that you can find potential play partners close to you or farther away if you’re looking for more discretion. But most importantly, you can define your kinks according to various categories (objects, shopping, odors), but you are also free to discuss any aspects of your fetishes in private. Sevitt explains, “Kink is a journey and everyone should be free to be who they want to be and like what they want without someone else defining it for them.” Right on, Whiplr!
