Sydney Leathers Gives Bella Thorne A Tongue Lashing Over OnlyFans Scam

Anthony Weiner’s ex-sexting partner Sydney Leathers makes her living these days on adult site OnlyFans and, like many of the site’s content creators, she’s not happy that Bella Thorne joined the platform. Thorne reportedly made $2 million on the site, and got backlash from some of the site’s X-rated regulars. Leathers put down her leather whip to give Thorne a tongue lashing, saying Thorne’s “non-apology” was so phony “she should go into politics.”

Leathers said that the platform is her biggest source of income and points out that many “strippers, doms and escorts” have joined since they cannot work in person due to the coronavirus pandemic. She added Thorne should donate the money she made “to sex workers and sex worker organizations.” We can only guess how Leathers feels about Thorne’s sister, who’s been feuding with sex workers on the site since the scamming incident.

Bella Thorne Apologizes To Sex Workers After OnlyFans Scam

Bella Thorne is apologizing to sex workers after her fake nudes scam on OnlyFans led to the platform instating new payment caps and holds afterwards. She sparked outrage when she charged $200 for a “naked” photo where she was not actually nude and earned a record breaking $2 million in two days. Content creators say OnlyFans subsequently imposed payment caps of $50 on pay-per-view posts from a previous cap of $200, and a $100 cap on tips

Thorne apologized in a series of tweets, saying she intended to normalize sex work, not financially harm sex workers: “I wanted to bring attention to the site, the more people on the site the more likely of a chance to normalize the stigmas, And in trying to do this I hurt you. I have risked my career a few times to remove the stigma behind sex work, porn, and the natural hatred people spew,” she said. She added that she’s meeting with OnlyFans about the new restrictions. Sex workers did not seem to accept her apology: “So cute how Bella Thorne made her Onlyfans on a whim without doing an ounce of research on how it would impact the community and she immediately fucked it up for us,” a Twitter user said.

Critics are calling out Thorne for “scamming” users over promised nudes that will not be delivered since she announced that she was actually only doing research for a character and will not do nudity.
