Demi Lovato opened up about ending their engagement recently, saying that they’ve learned they’re “too queer” to be with a cis man. The pop star revealed in an interview that they’re finally discovering their sexuality and that the breakup was a “relief that I could live my truth.” They said, “When I started getting older, I started realizing how queer I really am.”

They added that they discovered that they’re “too queer” to be with a straight man and that when they “hooked up with a girl” they realized: “I like this a lot more.” “It felt better. It felt right,” they explained. Lovato emphasized they’re “really queer” and knows “who I am and what I am, but I’m just waiting until a specific timeline to come out to the world as what I am.”

Pornhub To Release First Non-Porn Movie

Pornhub is releasing its first ever non-adult film in hopes of expanding audiences and diversifying its content. The movie is a documentary called “Shakedown” about the queer women and men who populated the lesbian strip club scene in Los Angeles in the early aughts. The film’s director was intrigued by Pornhub since she’s specifically hoping to engage Pornhub’s female users.

Pornhub says, “This film is part of a larger general commitment Pornhub has to supporting the arts. We want to be seen as a platform that artists and creators can use.” Repped by distributor Grasshopper, the movie will stream on Pornhub for free for the entire month of March before hitting broadcast on the Criterion Channel, and, finally, the iTunes store by summer. Pornhub adds, “We’ve seen artists in general upload content to the site, that might not have a home at places like YouTube or Vimeo, who don’t permit nudity. For us, premiering a feature length film is a first. We’re very excited about it.”

Lesbian Porn Artist Suspended On Twitter For ‘Suggestive’ Banner

The banner shows two women in bed (the full version is a masturbation scene), one has a bare breast but no nipples showing, but it’s unclear what action is taking place. “If you have a suggestive banner, PLEASE CHANGE IT—Maybe I’m stupid but I thought twitter’s NSFW policy meant no explicit nudity in your profile, but it’s really vague, and too much titty could get your account banned,” the artist tweeted.

After three appeals, Twitter decided the account “does not appear to be in violation of the Twitter Rules” after all, and the permanent suspension was reversed. Twitter’s safety team is notorious for its vague moderation policies: “Twitter really doesn’t protect anyone in my field, it truly sucks,” the artist said. “Not just artists, but anyone creating any kind of queer erotica, writers and sex workers and all.” She adds, “It’s just that the [terms of service] is SO vague about what is or is not considered NSFW, it makes it very hard to know sometimes what is OK and what’s not.”

Queer YouTubers Are Getting In Trouble For Sex Toy Sponsorships

Queer YouTubers have been fighting with the platform and its policies for years, and now a group of LGBTQIA YouTubers filed a class-action lawsuit against YouTube for unfairly restricting and demonetizing their videos. To fund sex-ed videos, many YouTubers have turned to sponsorships with sex toy companies, which supposedly violates YouTube’s rules against “content that contains nudity and is meant to be sexually gratifying.”

One of the affected YouTubers shared the email they got from YouTube, in which a YouTube spokesperson admitted “we incorrectly issued strikes on videos with links to an adult toy site.” They added, “When this was brought to our attention, we worked quickly to resolve the strikes for all affected creators.” Mistake or not, as the class-action lawsuit indicates, some LGBTQIA YouTubers feel that their videos are placed under unfair scrutiny.

The sci-fi thriller could get a second life on one of the internet’s most popular porn sites. Recently, xHamster penned an open letter praising Sense8‘s “polyamorous perversity,” and offered to produce the show on its site.

“xHamster has a long history of fighting for the rights of sexual free speech and non-normative sexuality,” said the vice president. While the site currently produces The Sex Factor, a reality show in which people compete to be the next big porn star, xHamster doesn’t have experience producing non-pornographic, “traditional” entertainment. But who knows, maybe mainstream TV produced on a porn site could change the way we view television.

Heroic Artist Gets ‘Make America Great Again’ Tattooed Around His Anus

TattooQueer performance artist Abel Azcona is letting Donald Trump know how he really feels—by tattooing the words “Make America Great Again” on his butt-hole! The tattooing happened in an art gallery in Chicago, amongst a large crowd of eager onlookers. The words of the president’s campaign slogan has been permanently inked onto the artist’s anus in what the artist describes as the ultimate queer, political act.

Azcona explains that he considers the anus tattoo to be a bold statement, where he is using his body as a political tool of resistance. “The anus is a pleasure zone for many people, and an area of sin for others. I think demystifying what the anus is, and writing a fascist political motto like that in my anus, is a clearly critical and subversive action,” the artist explained to HuffPo. As a performance artist for more than 12 years, his painfully powerful statement is another way for him to use his body as a “weapon of empowerment.” It’s pretty clear where he thinks Trump can stick his campaign promise!
