Sophie Turner Roasts Joe Jonas For Purity Ring

Sophie Turner’s roast of husband Joe Jonas was “burnin’ up” in a clip of Netflix’s new comedy special Jonas Brothers Family Roast. The Game of Thrones actress joked about the Jonas brothers all once wearing purity rings. “Look, Joe wasn’t just sticking his fingers in some dumb metal rings. He was sticking his fingers in co-stars, actresses, and even a supermodel or two,” Turner quipped.

Joe made headlines in 2013 when he announced that he had lost his virginity. “We decided to take the rings off a few years ago,” he said at the time. “I lost my virginity when I was 20. I did other stuff before then, but I was sexually active at 20. In 2014, Nick also revealed on “The Wendy Williams Show” that he was no longer a virgin.

Pastor Is Melting Purity Rings Into A Golden Pussy Sculpture

The pastor issued a call on Twitter for people to send her those rings so she can melt them down and recast them as a “golden vagina.” She sees it as a powerful way to turn a symbol used to shame women and their bodies into something beautiful and liberating.

The pastor is the founder of Denver’s “House for All Sinners and Saints,” a progressive, queer-inclusive Lutheran congregation. She pushes back against religious notions of controlling women’s bodies and sexuality. In exchange for the purity rings, the pastor sends a silicone “impurity” ring and a “Certificate of Impurity.”
