A famous couple have reportedly called in lawyers after their sex tape was leaked online. The ITV stars, who have not been named, have had X-rated pictures and videos shared via direct messages through a social media account. The hardcore images were reportedly posted online, with their lawyers stepping in to take down the images from the internet over three weeks later.

The pair are said to be household names who are known to millions of viewers, having starred in many popular, big name TV shows. The X-rated video allegedly sees the male celebrity stripped naked and laying on a bed talking to an unseen participant, before performing a sex act on himself. The sex tape leak follows the recent controversy of a Strictly Come Dancing star who’s private adult content was leaked to a porn site.

Apple’s Siri Routinely Records You Having Sex

270833119_0d8840e498_zIt turns out Siri is a lot more engaged in our… ahem, private activities then we ever could’ve realized. Apple’s “Siri” automated assistant routinely records people having sex, according to a recent report. Siri, which is built in to the iPhone, Apple Watch and HomePod smart speaker, is activated when someone says “Hey, Siri” – but the artificial intelligence often begins operating by mistake, a quality-control contractor told The Guardian.

Accidental triggers, especially on the Apple watch, is incredibly high: “The sound of a zip, Siri often hears as a trigger,” the whistleblower said. Apple hires outside workers around the world to review Siri recordings and grade how the software responded to requests, according to the Guardian. “There have been countless instances of recordings featuring private discussions between doctors and patients, business deals, seemingly criminal dealings, sexual encounters and so on,” the contractor revealed. He added, “And you’d hear, like, people engaging in sexual acts that are accidentally recorded on the pod or the watch.”

Porn Age Verification Plans Are Being Put On Hold In The UK, Again

Image Source: Pixland via Getty Images The porn age verification system in the UK—which was supposed to start on July 15th—has been “indefinitely delayed.” It seems the system’s legal basis was apparently undermined by the government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media, & Sport (DCMS) failing to inform the European Commission. Back in 2017, an age verification system was passed for people wanting to access porn websites, but it quickly attracted the concern of privacy campaigners worried about millions of people having to hand over potentially sensitive data.

“It might lead to people being outed,” said the executive director for privacy campaign group Open Rights Group. “It could also be you’re a teacher with an unusual sexual preference and your pupils get to know that as a result of a leak. It won’t get you sacked for viewing something legal but it could destroy your reputation.” Ultimately, the government agreed, issuing a statement saying, “While it’s very embarrassing to delay age verification for the third time, this is an opportunity for the Government to address the many problems that this ill-thought through policy poses.”

U.K.’s New Porn Law Is Being Challenged In Court

A pair of activists are fighting the U.K. government’s measure to implement age-verification for online porn providers. Obscenity lawyer Myles Jackman and feminist pornographer Pandora Blake initiated a resistance campaign called ResistAV: Legal Challenge that’s currently raising funds to challenge the proposed law. They argue that porn age-verification could compromise user privacy by enabling porn website users’ personal data to be collected, open to hacking, or sold to third-parties.

The U.K. government would not provide the software to require users to verify their age, but instead would rely on third-parties—the major concern for privacy and porn advocates. Activists argue this could potentially lead to data misuse or data breaches if personal identifiers are collected, stored improperly, or sold. “Without specific privacy controls embedded in the legislation, there is a very real risk of U.K. adults’ porn habits being outed. The government’s ill-conceived age-verification regime puts up to 25 million U.K. adults at risk,” said the activists.

Pornhub’s New VPN Will Hide Your Porn Searches

img_5939Pornhub is launching its own free VPN—a secure method for keeping your browsing habits private— with unlimited bandwidth. “Called VPNhub, the VPN is designed to keep hackers from compromising your sensitive data and internet-service providers (ISPs) from throttling speeds,” explains Daily Dot. When you’re connected to a VPN, all your data is encrypted, which keeps it from prying eyes and ensures ISPs won’t know what to slow down.

Pornhub says VPNhub doesn’t log user data or your activity while it’s being used. This is the latest in several changes Pornhub’s made to make users feel more comfortable while viewing porn on its site. Last year, Pornhub switched to HTTPS, a more secure website protocol that offers site-wide encryption. Thanks, Pornhub, for offering risk-free porn to the masses!

U.K. Bill Proposes To Ban All ‘Non-Conventional’ Porn Online

britishunderwearThe U.K.’s new digital economy bill is a threat not only to citizen’s privacy, but also to their freedom to watch online porn. According to the Guardian, the bill would force internet service providers to censor sites hosting content that doesn’t meet the standards of the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC). This means that anything considered “non-conventional”—i.e., quite a lot of material, kinky and otherwise—could be prohibited.

The bill can ban any “obscene” material, such as “humiliation or abuse,” sexual portrayals of “lack of consent,” or anything classified as “adult-only.” And because it can put a ban on “non-conventional” sex, sex acts like “consensual spanking, whipping or other BDSM activities would be censored, as would fisting and urination, female ejaculation, or menstruation,” reports the Guardian. Thankfully, because there are so many adult sites, the ban would be difficult if not impossible to enforce. As a spokeswoman for MindGeek told the Guardian, “many of the sexual activities prohibited from R18 are normalised and accepted aspects of healthy sexuality, and are proudly celebrated by the feminist, queer, and ethical porn movements internationally.” It’s frightening to think that those are the sites that would be most at risk.

Want to proudly celebrate your right to be kinky? Let’s get non-conventional at NiteFlirt!

The Receiver Of Your Sexts May Be Sharing Them With Friends, Study Finds

10817159986_3b12084857_zIf you think that nude pic you sent is for the receiver’s eyes only, guess again. A new study out of Indiana University finds that a shocking number of people share your supposed “private” sexts with their friends. According to the study, 23 percent, or 1 in 4, of those who received naked pictures shared them with more than three friends.

Sexting, which happens mostly between couples in relationships as a way to flirt, thankfully often leads to positive outcomes (i.e., getting laid). But for others, as the study points out, “it may lead to negative outcomes such as lowered self-esteem or damage to reputation.” The study hopes to get more people to consider what happens when our privacy is violated because of sexting. Like the study’s author says, “As sexting becomes more common and normative, we’re seeing a contemporary struggle as men and women attempt to reconcile digital eroticism with real-world consequences.”
