Pornhub Reveals 2021’s Most Popular Searches In America

Another year, another Pornhub review revealing America’s X-rated viewing habits. The most popular search term across the United States was “hentai”—a type of Japanese anime. Fantasy was a theme: “The Suicide Squad” anti-hero Harley Quinn was the most-searched movie franchise or character, followed by Wonder Woman, Harry Potter, “Star Wars” and Black Widow.

Lara Rhoades was the most popular porn star internationally, followed by Abella Danger, Eva Elfie, Riley Reid and Mia Malkova. The adult site further revealed that Americans were the biggest porn consumers on the planet—Brits made up the second-largest share of Pornhub users, the Japanese placed in third, the frisky French came in fourth, while Italians rounded out the top 5. “Ebony” remained the most-viewed category of video for the second year running, ahead of “lesbian” and “MILF.”

BDSM Rises In Popularity Due To The Pandemic

BDSM is surging in popularity according to a new report from hook up site KinkD, who say site usage is on the rise across the U.S. as quarantine continues during the coronavirus pandemic. Since COVID-19 lockdowns began in March, KinkD has experienced a 39.2% rise in average monthly active users, the report notes.

Users are also spending more time on the site, with daily usage jumping by over 50%. “[Modern technology] provides a creative way to fill the void caused by physical distancing on social activities, leisure, and sex,” KinkD said. “But I think the recent surge in technology-based social approach is just a temporary coping strategy, once this pandemic end, we still hope the usage of this approach may decrease in favor of in-person, partnered interactions.”

Pornhub Reveals The Most Popular Gaming Character Searches

PikachuSexPornhub revealed 2017’s most popular gaming characters that users love to watch fuck, and the results are pretty interesting. When it comes to porn searches, female characters are the stars: of the 16 characters listed by Pornhub, 13 are female. After that, “Misty from Pokémon (2.6 million searches) beat out Tomb Raider’s Lara Craft ( 2.2 million searches) for a fourth place spot and Zelda grabbed number six,” reports Daily Dot. Pokemon’s Ash was the only male character to make the list, which goes to show that in the male-dominated gaming world, sexy female characters win the porn popularity contest. Besides hot lady heroes, users also want to see non-human characters like Pokémon Gardevoir and Pikachu get it on.

Millennials Most Searched For Categories on Pornhub

You can find out a lot about a generation just through looking at their porn preferences. That’s why Pornhub recently decided to sneak a peak at what types of porn Millennials are getting into these days. Since Millennials make up around 60 percent of Pornhub’s users, they rounded up the data to find out more about what, exactly, is getting youngsters off. So what’s the most searched for categories among the 18-34 demographic?

Not surprisingly, lesbian, teen, stepmom, MILF, squirt ranked the highest. And the next top five terms were mom, step sister, Japanese, threesome, massage. Other interesting data: Millennials watch the most porn on Mondays between 11pm and midnight, and they usually watch it on their phones. Millennials are also more likely to use porn categories than older users, such as cosplay, hentai, pov, anime, and emo (so angsty!). So what have we learned? Mainly that Millennials are down for some hot girl-on-girl action with a mom or a teenage stepsister, or both at the same time, preferably in anime!
