Dance Naked Creative Takes A Sex-Positive Approach To Theater

The sex-positive theater company Dance Naked Creative‘s approach to human sexuality is playful, thoughtful and liberated. The artistic director explained whether she’s delivering a monologue about a guy going down on her in a cabin or creating a show about her days as a “terrible” dominatrix in New York City, she wants to find out “What is the experience like for people?” When she started Dance Naked Creative in 2005, she wanted to offer a perspective that could surprise playgoers.

“What I knew that I wanted to make was theater that was a positive lens on sexuality, because I felt like a lot of what I saw was trauma,” she says. Her approach has resonated with audiences—she will perform her show Plan V: The Joyful Cult of Pussy Worship this summer at London’s Vagina Museum and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. “Shame thrives in darkness,” she says, “and in the theater, we’re literally shining a light on it.”

“One of the great things to come from the show, was being forced to explore self-love on a whole new level due to a total lack of intimacy,” she wrote. Beck explained that she wanted to encourage and empower other women to embrace their sexuality. She also revealed that she likes sex with other people—when asked during an interview whether she had sex with anyone since the show stopped filming, she replied, “Yes absolutely.”

A naked climber takes free climbing to a new level. New Jersey native Laura Jasorka says she finds it “freeing” sharing photos of her rock-climbing in the nude. The climber started posing for the au naturel climbs last year, posting the stunning pics online under the name Princess Slaya.

“I instantly fell in love with naked climbing as it felt so freeing,” she said. “I am more prone to grazes when rocking climbing and may end with more scratches. But at least I won’t snag my clothes!” She finds it so “empowering,” in fact, that she now hopes to encourage other women to “appreciate their bodies.” She said, “Women tend to have negative feelings towards their body, but I urge them to get over their fears and take their clothes off.”

Emmy Rossum is no stranger to racy sex scenes, and she responded unapologetically: “I get paid to tell stories and life sometimes involves this awesome thing called sex. Maybe you’ve just never had any so you don’t know.” In the past, Emmy has spoken out about the importance of women being able to express their sexuality on screen and why she continues to act in scenes featuring explicit sex. She said, “What I think is so interesting about showing sexuality as part of art is no different than showing any other part of life to inform the art. Sexuality is a part of life, I hope, and it’s interesting that the women on the stage get to write, and we get to show characters.”

Naked Man Who Jumped Into Aquarium Shark Tank Wanted By Police

Witnesses got a video of the man swimming nude in the shark tank while a security guard yells at him to get out of the water (watch below).

At one point, the man got out of the pool, only to dive back in again to a cheering crowd. According to one visitor, the man seemed completely relaxed while skinny dipping with sharks in the aquarium’s “Dangerous Lagoon.” Police were notified of the incident, but the man got away before an arrest could be made: “We arrived on scene within seven minutes and he was already gone,” said a police officer. “There were no injuries to the man, animals or patrons.”

The police were notified when a passerby saw the man running naked through the streets in a populated area. “This isn’t about blaming the victim, it’s a reminder to be aware of your surroundings and thinking about putting yourself in an obviously vulnerable position,” said the police. Man Arrested After Naked Yoga Session At The Gym

“The story we got from witnesses was that the guy walked in, stripped down right there in front, left the clothes and belongings at the front desk, walked back and forth across the gym a couple of times and then settled in over at the yoga mats,” the New Hampshire police captain said. After police found him in a nude “yoga-type position,” he was charged with indecent exposure, lewdness and disorderly conduct. “The only comment he made was that he thought it was a judgment-free zone, apparently referencing their slogan,” said the police captain.
