Ex-Florida Mayor Comes Out As Bisexual Amid Male Escort Scandal

Married former Florida mayor Andrew Gillum had some explaining to do when he was caught with a gay male escort. He has since come out as bisexual, saying in an interview recently: “I don’t identify as gay, but I do identify as bisexual.” He added of his sexuality, “That is something that I have never shared before.”

Gillum’s supportive wife, with whom he has three kids, said, “So many people just don’t understand bisexuality.” She added, “I just believe that love and sexuality exists on a spectrum. All I care about is what’s between us and what agreement we made.” Andrew Gillum was infamously caught with an openly gay man who had described himself as a “pornstar performer” in a South Beach hotel.

Kate Winslet Discusses Choreographing Her Lesbian Sex Scenes In Upcoming Film

Kate Winslet is no stranger to sex scenes and nudity on screen, but her newest flick seems to take her talents to the next level. “Ammonite” is a lesbian period romance starring Winslet and Saoirse Ronan. The movie is loosely inspired by the life of paleontologist Mary Anning, played by Kate, and follows her girl-on-girl romance with geologist Charlotte Murchison.

In a new interview, Kate opened up about shooting some of the more explicit sex scenes with Saoirse—which the pair choreographed themselves. She said that she told the director, “‘We’ll start here. We’ll do this with the kissing, boobs, you go down there, then you do this, then you climb up here.’” She added that it was especially empowering to do a nude sex scene as a “real fortysomething, post-children,” explaining, “I felt the proudest I’ve ever felt doing a love scene on Ammonite. And I felt by far the least self-conscious.”

Gay Political Candidate Engulfed In Sex Scandal Won’t Apologize For Having Sex

Democratic political candidate Alex Morse has had his campaign overtaken by a sex scandal—and he would like the record to show that, yes, he does have sex. His Tinder profile has come under scrutiny, as well as his using gay dating apps to hook up with consenting adult men. He says, “It’s important to be unapologetically myself — being gay and a young person and someone who has sex, and I won’t apologize for being gay and using gay dating apps and going on dates with other adult men.”

His insistence on continuing in the race and now speaking openly and without shame about his sex life was intended to confront “these unspoken rules about what it is and what it takes to be in office.” He said, “Long after this election, I think this country needs to reckon with our puritanical fantasy about people’s sex lives and these heteronormative expectations put on all of us, including all of us in the queer community.” He added, “It’s a fantasy that elected officials don’t have sex lives. It’s a dangerous narrative and it’s a conversation that needs to happen.”

New Documentary Profiles Conservative Couple Behind Gay Porn Empire

A new documentary called “Circus of Books” takes an in-depth look at the unlikely origins of a gay adult book and porn shop that became a Los Angeles institution. The film profiles the conservative couple who owned and operated Circus of Books in West Hollywood, California―which the film calls the “center of the gay universe.” In addition to literature, Circus of Books specialized in X-rated videos and sex toys. 

The owners kept the naughty shop a secret from their friends and family for years since gay porn was seen as taboo at the time—but during the AIDS epidemic, they became unlikely LGBTQ rights activists. “We were probably the biggest distributor of hardcore gay films in the U.S. It was like a knife over our heads all the time,” the couple say. Though Circus of Books closed in 2019, the shop’s legacy lives on in the hearts of West Hollywood’s queer community.

Pornhub To Release First Non-Porn Movie

Pornhub is releasing its first ever non-adult film in hopes of expanding audiences and diversifying its content. The movie is a documentary called “Shakedown” about the queer women and men who populated the lesbian strip club scene in Los Angeles in the early aughts. The film’s director was intrigued by Pornhub since she’s specifically hoping to engage Pornhub’s female users.

Pornhub says, “This film is part of a larger general commitment Pornhub has to supporting the arts. We want to be seen as a platform that artists and creators can use.” Repped by distributor Grasshopper, the movie will stream on Pornhub for free for the entire month of March before hitting broadcast on the Criterion Channel, and, finally, the iTunes store by summer. Pornhub adds, “We’ve seen artists in general upload content to the site, that might not have a home at places like YouTube or Vimeo, who don’t permit nudity. For us, premiering a feature length film is a first. We’re very excited about it.”

First “Throuple” Appears On HGTV’s “House Hunters”

The BisexualMenExist hashtag is fairly self-explanatory: a user created it to highlight the discrimination bisexual men face. Dick Pound, however, is a bit more unlikely—here’s a tweet that explains it: “IOC member Dick Pound says Tokyo Olympic organizers have until late May to see if the virus is under control. If not, ‘you’re probably looking at a cancellation.'”

Users noticed that the two hashtags, Dick Pound and Bisexual Men Exist, were trending at the same time—and of course, jokes and memes ensued. “The trending is extra freaky today: you got Dick Pound, Bisexual Men exist and something called Fat Tuesday trending,” reads a tweet. Another user wrote, “This sounds dirty and nasty AF lol ‘Dick pound fat Tuesday hot pockets.'” The stars have aligned!

Indonesia Is Trying To Outlaw Sex Outside Of Marriage

The country’s parliament agreed to the President’s bill, which they hope to become a law, very soon. “The state must protect citizens from behavior that is contrary to the supreme precepts of God,” a religious politician said.

As part of the code, a person who has sex with someone who is not their spouse could spend a year behind bars, if a close family member lodges a complaint. Same-sex couples will be heavily impacted by the law, as Indonesia does not recognize gay marriage. Additionally, unmarried couples who “live together as a husband and wife” could spend six months in jail or be fined 10 million rupiah — or $710 — equivalent to three months’ salary for many Indonesians.
