Hotels In Colombia Turn Into Camming Studios During COVID

Hotels and sex workers in Colombia have united during the pandemic to try and stay afloat. Since tourism has decreased, hotels have undergone pricey renovations to home camming studios for adult entertainers. Professional-grade web cameras have been installed, along with redecorated rooms, and other stylish renovations.

The new use has helped to keep hotels in business: “The hotels were closed during five, six months [and] the owners of those hotels didn’t see any good predictions,” said a camming studio executive in Colombia. They added that the hotel owners said, “‘We have all these rooms available, your industry is growing a lot … why don’t you provide those rooms to your models?’” The contracts with hotels last from five to 10 years—and allow for the models to use every hotel room.

Lora DiCarlo has returned to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with three new sex toys that feature warming technology to simulate body temperatures and relax muscles. The vibrators—called “Drift,” “Tilt,” and “Sway”—all boast an innovative nylon-based thermal conductive polymer, which is said to be 15 to 20 times more efficient at providing internal heating than those currently on the market. Lora DiCarlo received an “Innovation Award” in 2019, but was then disqualified because CES organizers deemed the firm’s Ose massager as “immoral, obscene, indecent and profane.”

Despite the controversy, Lora DiCarlo returned to the tech conference with twice as many sex toys. The Drift is a warming bullet vibrator with an ergonomic design that pinpoints certain areas, like the clitoris, with “powerful, intense, rumbly vibrations for deep internal and external pleasure,” reads Lora DiCarlo’s website. The Tilt and Sway simultaneously stimulate the G-spot and clitoris, or the P-spot and perineum, has seven intensity settings and three vibration patterns, and can “quickly” reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40C).

The I.Con Smart Condom is a reusable, one-size-fits-all rubber bracelet that logs data during sex. It tracks anything from the number of calories burned to the speed of a man’s thrusts and how long he lasts, according to the lead engineer.

The band slides onto the base of the penis and is used with a normal condom for protection. “We wanted the i.Con to look refined, non-intrusive and lightweight – the finished article is nothing short of any of those things,” he said. “There is absolutely no hindrance to the user and that was our main goal.” But what’s most impressive is how the gadget is able to detect STD’s as well as “prevent condom slippage.” The $74 gadget hits the market in January 2018 and is available for preorder on the company website.
