Study Finds Most Straight Women are Turned on By Naked Men and Women

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_sexhoursA new study is further evidence that sexual identifications like straight, gay, and bi are complex and muddy terms. The study found that most straight women are aroused by images of both naked men and women. “Eighty-two percent of the female participants—and 74 percent of the women who identify as straight—exhibited arousal to both sexes,” Slate reported. So is this proof that women cannot be straight?

Well, not exactly. In scientific terms, an attraction to both genders does technically mean that you’d be considered bi-sexual. But this definition only takes into account one’s sexual identification, not one’s romantic identification. In other words, bi-sexual people are not only attracted to both sexes, but they’d want to date both sexes. While straight women might become aroused by seeing naked images of both sexes (which is largely a physiological response because of the way women’s brains are wired), they don’t necessarily want to act on their feelings of sexual desire. Mainly, this study shows how slippery and confusing sexual orientation can be—and how sexually versatile women are!

Feel like having an arousing experience yourself? Whatever turns you on works for us; we are definitely sexually versatile here!

New Kinky Video Game Lets You Scrub Down Men in the Locker Room Shower

Robert Yang is revolutionizing video games with his queer, kinky scenarios that subvert the typically “straight dude gamer audience.” Last year, he created several sexually-focused games such as “Hurt Me Plenty,” a game about spanking and kink, “Succulent,” where gamers fellate a popsicle, “Stick Shift,” about cars and handjobs, and “Cobra Club,” where gamers send dick pics. And now, his latest queer-centric creation, “Rinse and Repeat,” is an exploration into the kinky world of submissives in the very sexualized realm of a communal shower.

Yang explains that the game is a gay male fantasy for those who are interested in experimenting with dom/sub relationships. Yang says, “My game isn’t unique in this sense, lots of video games have domineering relationships with their players, but I think my game is one of the few that sexualizes this dynamic, especially in a gay way designed to poke at a predominantly straight…audience.” In “Rinse and Repeat,” the player is asked by a sexy naked dude to scrub his back—and other important areas—as he showers. The scenario soon turns into a BDSM experience of dominance and submission. “Gay sex is the only thing that’s hot and dirty enough to subvert the video game industry’s lazy reliance on graphic violence and consumerism,” Yang explains.

Kink Is Out and Proud at Legendary Queer Street Parade

ff-posterA new documentary called “Folsom Forever” chronicles the history of San Francisco’s legendary gay pride parade that celebrates the right of queers and kinksters everywhere to explore their sexuality out in the open. Even though it now seems like the leather-bound parade was always just about the kink, the film shows that the event was much more than just a scene for exhibitionists. The documentary focuses on the historically gay-friendly neighborhood the Castro in the 1970s, when “Folsom Street was the West Coast’s mecca for anyone on their leather journey in life.”

During the time when the fair originated, the queers in the Castro were being pushed out of their neighborhoods by developers who wanted to “bulldoze buildings and sex businesses — like the bathhouses — being closed by the city in misguided AIDS hysteria.” This is why the parade has always been “an expression of human rights, be it the right to low-cost housing or to willingly be flogged without fear of arrest.” San Francisco in the ’70s was a time when queer people were able to fully explore and celebrate their sexuality. That’s why today, members of the LGBT community and kinksters alike flock to the Folsom Street Parade with whips, chains, leather, and more to really celebrate sexual expression and freedom.

Right on! Want to celebrate all things kinky and leather-bound with us? Three cheers for sexual freedom and expression!

How to Buy the Perfect Lube

14020144679_1f21254d67_zHaving the right lube is just as important as any other part of a sexual experience. And just like one’s preferences for different kinks, fetishes, body types, positions, etc., one’s lube is also a unique personal preference. So here are some facts that will help you to find that perfect lube.

  1. Silicone-based lubes
These long-lasting lubes are soft and silky against the skin and won’t leave any sticky residue behind. They’re great for anal, work well with condoms, and can also be used in the shower.
  2. Water-based lubes
These are thinner, slipperier, and easy to clean up afterward. They can also be used with condoms, but because they’re so thin and sticky, you have to keep reapplying, so they’re not great for anal or marathon fuck-fests.
  3. Novelty lubes
These are your flavored lubes, warming or “arousal” lubes, or desensitizing lubes for when you need a little cool-down down there (if thinking of baseball doesn’t work, that is!). They tend to smell chemically, taste weird, and be sticky—that’s probably why they’re a “novelty.”
  4. Whatever lube you pick, be sure to avoid irritating ingredients
Some people may be sensitive to the ingredients in lubes, and can have bad reactions. As a rule, try to avoid ingredients like perfume, mint, menthol, petroleum, glycerin, and cinnamon. But if you’re buying a high quality lube, it probably won’t contain any potential irritating ingredients.
  5. Try before you buy
When you go to the sex store, you can usually test out lubes before buying them—on your hands, of course! Rub a little on your hand or arm to compare different textures, sensations, etc. Remember that you want it to feel soft and smooth, not goopy, sticky, or too thin.
  6. Buy more than one!
Maybe you want a thicker lube for anal, but a thinner one for other fun things. Nothing wrong with keeping your options open for different activities!

Feel like getting wet n’ wild with us? We love fun, long-lasting activities!

Gay Bob Was the World’s First Gay (and Anatomically Correct) Doll

16342313980_b24b252790_zNearly 40 years ago, Gay Bob came out of the toy manufacturer closet as the world’s first gay doll. Gay Bob wasn’t a joke, even though releasing such a doll in earnest during the late ’70s was definitely controversial—especially considering Bob’s perfect, anatomically correct plastic cock! Gay Bob was created by inventor Harvey Rosenberg as a way for gay men to feel more empowered about their sexuality during a time when it was taboo to identify as gay, let alone be open about it.

Gay Bob came on the scene complete with a plastic earring, fashionable man-purse, a closet for him to come out of, figuratively and literally, and a huge plastic cock. Described as “a cross between Paul Newman and Robert Redford,” he also had a manifesto explaining why he came with a closet: “…Gay people are no different than straight people… if everyone came “out of their closets” there wouldn’t be so many angry, frustrated, frightened people…” Not only that, but Gay Bob also came with cheeky packaging that explained to consumers how they could “play with [him].” Basically, since he’s so “well-built,” your boss, your folks, and your friends will all love him!

NEWS: David Bowie: Big & Uncensored on SNL

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_david_bowie

Recently it was the anniversary of David Bowie’s surreal, racy SNL performance, in which he flaunted a giant dick on national, live television. 35 years ago, the show’s producers censored a gay reference in one of his songs, prompting him to covertly pull out a huge dildo from his pants as a big fuck you to the censors. The song was “Boys Keep Swinging,” and here’s what got the producers’ panties in a twist:

The lyric, “When you’re a boy, other boys check you out!” was apparently too “sexually deviant” in the 1970s for the audience of late-night’s edgiest show to date. So the TV powers-that-be decided to push the censorship button on that naughty, homo-erotic part of the song. Too bad they didn’t notice what they should’ve been censoring: the big plastic dildo Bowie was pumping up and down from his pants during the song’s final climax!

Here at Niteflirt, we love David Bowie and so-called sexual deviance! Come check us out!

NEWS: NYC High Line vs. NYC Fetish Festival

I guess luxury-housing trumps a fetish festival in the Big Apple.  For those not familiar, the NYC High Line is a section of the old elevated New York City railroad that runs along the lower West Side of Manhattan, which was reconstructed and now is an “aerial greenway.”  This historic area will soon be the home of new high-end condos.  Unfortunately, due to the construction in the High Line community, the Folsom Street East Festival will be cancelled after 16 years.

This event is “ the largest outdoor fetish street festival on the eastern coast, which brings thousands of sexy kinksters out onto the streets of New York City on a summer afternoon to celebrate sexual diversity and expression. The now-defunct Gay Male SM Activists (GMSMA) held the first Folsom Street East in 1997. Named after the famous Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, the block party was an instant success, bringing our S/M-Leather-Fetish brothers and sisters together for a great celebration, while raising money to support worthy causes.”  I wonder if it’s BYOW, bring your own whip?

Sadly, it seems as though some New Yorkers are on board, and are welcoming the community building that will take place in the High Line neighborhood. Clearly there is a shortage of luxury cribs in NYC, riiiiiiiiight.  Fear not, there is a bright side to this story, looks as though the fetish fiesta might be making a comeback next year. No venues revealed, but don’t go throwing out your ass-less chaps and gimp masks yet. Folsom Street East announced on their website, “THANKS FOR 16 GREAT YEARS CELEBRATING SEXUAL FREEDOM WITH THE FOLSOM STREET EAST STREET FESTIVAL, AND WE HOPE TO SEE YOU BACK ON THE KINKY STREETS OF NEW YORK CITY IN 2014!”

I hope to see the Folsom Street East Festival back in action, let freedom ring!
