Artist Hosts Sex Doll Funerals For Heartsick Owners

An artist in Japan had a unique idea for a business: sex doll funerals. The strange memorials cater to heartsick kinksters who have sex dolls that have outlived their use. Many “love them [sex dolls] as if they were human members of their family,” according to the founder of the Love Doll Funeral services in Osaka.

For roughly $800, customers can have their sex dolls placed in caskets, dressed in burial attire and adorned with garlands. Presiding over the memorials is transgender porn actress-turned-Buddhist monk, Lay Kato, who the artist describes as the foremost authority on “sex, dolls and their owners.” The funeral—complete with candles, undertakers and even “mourning” sex dolls—is so authentic that passers-by have called the police after mistaking the dolls for real people.

It seems that Chinese authorities are getting tough on a bizarre and mind-bogglingly popular event at funerals: strippers. Yes, that was not a typo—exotic dancers are frequently hired to perform at funerals in rural China.

It seems that strippers are a way to honor the deceased in a ceremony that is considered by loved ones to be a show of respect. The strippers are paid great sums of money since they are supposed to attract more mourners—including children and people of all ages! Apparently, the erotic entertainment is not only a great send off for the departed being honored but also a good time for everyone involved.
