Tess Holiday: ‘Fat Folks Have Bomb Sex’

LetsTalkSexTess Holiday keeps it real about big beautiful women (BBW) who love good sex. The body-positive model recently took her sex-positive message to the Busy Tonight late night show. “I think it’s important to tell people that fat folks have bomb sex,” she told host Busy Philipps.

“Like, we need sexy lingerie … we need options; like, I want to feel sexy, I want to be sexy, whether I’m having sex or not, if it’s just for me in like my home or if I want to go out and show it. The world just wants to cover up marginalized bodies, and I’m not here for it.” Holiday has also given her 2 million social media followers some important information: “Fat people have sex. A lot of it. And it’s really fucking good. That’s all.” Bless you, Tess Holiday, and your healthy appetite for fucking!

Everything You Need To Know About Fat Sex Week

iStock_000006247668SmallThe blogger behind “queer fat femme,” Bevin Branlandingham, wants to change the way we think of fat bodies and banging—and she’s now dedicating an entire week to doing just that. Fat Sex Week is an eight-day blog series exploring “fat sex” in all its varied and hot forms. As a self-identified fat, queer woman who performs burlesque and comedy, her aim with Fat Sex Week is to both empower and educate people about the joys of fat sex.

“For Fat Sex Week, I always aim it at other fat people who want to have better sex but it’s also helpful to show people who are not fat that fat people are sexual and deserve sex and all bodies are deserving of sex just as they are,” Branlandingham tells HuffPo. Her approach to fat sex, queer sex, or really any “good quality sex” is the same: “being open to adapting and creating in the way that creates the most pleasure for everyone involved.” She also wants to correct the misconception that fat people “are not fuckable”—like she says, “fat people are wildly fuckable.” Ultimately, she wants people to feel good in their bodies, and to have great sex!
