Pornhub To Release First Non-Porn Movie

Pornhub is releasing its first ever non-adult film in hopes of expanding audiences and diversifying its content. The movie is a documentary called “Shakedown” about the queer women and men who populated the lesbian strip club scene in Los Angeles in the early aughts. The film’s director was intrigued by Pornhub since she’s specifically hoping to engage Pornhub’s female users.

Pornhub says, “This film is part of a larger general commitment Pornhub has to supporting the arts. We want to be seen as a platform that artists and creators can use.” Repped by distributor Grasshopper, the movie will stream on Pornhub for free for the entire month of March before hitting broadcast on the Criterion Channel, and, finally, the iTunes store by summer. Pornhub adds, “We’ve seen artists in general upload content to the site, that might not have a home at places like YouTube or Vimeo, who don’t permit nudity. For us, premiering a feature length film is a first. We’re very excited about it.”

Years after quitting, she was still ranked No. 2 on Pornhub for most searched stars in 2018, according to VICE. In 2014 Mia Khalifa made world news when she received death threats from ISIS after appearing in an adult film wearing a hijab. Her infamous hijab scene — which was still garnering ISIS threats as of August 2018 — is what ultimately made Khalifa leave the business.

But researchers warn that watching images of nature might not work in the right environments: “If we watch Springwatch on the sofa whilst at the same time checking our Twitter feed, it’s possible the natural scenes might not have the same immersive effect.”

Christians Giving Up Porn For Lent Are The Reason For Drop In Computer Viruses

Christians who gave up porn for Lent may be the reason for the 17 percent drop in computer virus infections, according to security experts. Researchers say malware infections dropped in the US since the start of Lent, a time when many people decide to give up porn for the religious holiday. Cyber security experts say that adult websites are “common sources” of virus infections—but many believe porn sites are the most common source of malware worldwide.

Researchers looked at US cities with high Catholic populations, including Boston, which saw a 36 percent drop since the start of Lent, and New York, that had numbers fall by almost a third. “Hackers frequently target explicit websites and set traps to bypass the security of computers and phones that visit them. A survey published last month suggested a third of web users could have an infected device thanks to their porn viewing habits,” reports Daily Mail. Since more than 40 percent of adults admit to watching porn daily, “digital STI’s” should maybe be considered Public Enemy No. 1?
