Olympic Boxer Failed Drug Test After Having Sex

US Olympic boxer Virginia Fuchs had doping allegations brought against her—but she claimed the banned substances were transmitted to her during sex. She has since spoken out in a video interview, saying she had “no idea” something like that could happen. “When I was first notified back in March when I had these prohibited substances in me, I was in complete shock and had no idea where they had come from, knowing I had never ingested anything,” Fuchs said in the video.

She tested positive for prohibited hormone and metabolic modulators during an out-of-competition test. During the investigation, the USADA determined Fuchs’ boyfriend had been taking products that included the two banned substances and the levels in her system were consistent with recent exposure through intimate contact. She said, “I just want my fellow athletes to learn from my mistake, I’ve learned an important lesson to just always take the necessary precautions in any case, especially with intimate contact. Like I said, I don’t want them to get blindsided by my unique experience.”

FDA Approves Shot To Boost Women’s Sex Drive

viagraThe FDA approved a new drug to boost low sex drive for women. The medication comes in the form of a shot to the thigh or abdomen, and is only the second FDA-approved drug to enhance women’s sexual desire. The drug will be marketed under the name Vyleesi, and will be used to treat premenopausal women with a hypoactive sexual desire disorder, or a persistent lack of interest in sex.

The pharmaceutical industry has pointed to surveys in recent years that indicate the sexual disorder affects one in 10 women. The approval was based on women’s responses to questionnaires that showed increases in sexual desire and decreases related to stress. While the women didn’t report having more sex, as the drug’s chief medical officer says, “Women are not desiring more sex. They want better sex.”

Woman Taken To Hospital For Allergic Reaction After Swallowing Cum

24503004315_94fb07d7e3_zA woman is literally allergic to her partner’s cum. She was taken to the hospital for an allergic reaction after performing oral sex on him and swallowing. Doctors suspected she suffered from anaphylactic shock, but couldn’t understand how that could happen from performing fellatio.

Doctors ruled out a rare semen allergy and soon discovered that her partner had taken amoxicillin-clavulanic acid – a form of penicillin – to treat an ear infection. As a result, the doctors suspected the woman’s anaphylaxis was caused by “seminal transfer of amoxicillin.” Doctors, who believe the case to be the first of its kind ever recorded, have now urged anyone with drug allergies to “be aware” of the potential risk from oral sex.

Viagra Factory In Ireland Turns Men Into Walking Stiffs

viagraAn Irish Viagra factory is making it hard for residents to ever leave. Townspeople claim the fumes from the factory which manufactures the erectile dysfunction drug are arousing the local men. “One whiff and you’re stiff,” local bartender Debbie O’Grady said.

Village dwellers have long enjoyed free access to the drug, never having to pay a cent for its “love fumes.” “It’s amazing the number of people who come to this village, perhaps out of curiosity, and then never leave. There’s something in the air,” a townsperson says. Some residents claim there was baby boom after the Viagra factory opened around 1998. Though no one knows for sure whether there is actually “love in the air,” residents have this to say for sure: “We’re just happy.”

Regular Marijuana Users Have More Sex

Couple making love in bedA new study is proving what weed smokers have known all along: smoking pot can increase your sex drive. The study, published in Journal of Sexual Medicine, found that people who smoke more weed also have more sex. Researchers looked at data of more than 50,000 people and found a definite link between regular marijuana usage and more frequent sex.

Women who smoked pot had sex an average of 7.1 times month, compared with 6 times per month for those who don’t smoke. The results were similar for men: 6.9 times a month for daily weed smokers, and 5.6 times a month for non-smokers. Researchers aren’t sure whether marijuana caused people to have sex more frequently or not, but they had this to say: “We don’t want people to smoke to improve sexual function, but it probably doesn’t hurt things.”

‘Boner Coffee’ Recalled By FDA For Containing Viagra-Like Ingredient

viagraA Texas-based coffee company issued a nationwide recall of its instant coffee after the FDA found it contained a natural ingredient comparable to what’s found in Viagra. The FDA discovered it contained Desmethyl Carbodenafil, a chemical similar to Viagra’s active ingredient Sildenaful. The “undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels,” the FDA said in a statement.

According to the FDA, “New of Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee” also contained other undeclared ingredients such as milk, which could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if consumed by someone with a severe lactose allergy. It seems the coffee was promoted as a “male enhancement” product online—until the FDA put an end to the best part of waking up!

‘Female Viagra’ Results in Just ‘Half of One Satisfying Sexual Encounter a Month’

imagesToday in wah wah wah news, Addyi, the pharmaceutical intended to enhance female desire, is turning out to be less than thrilling. The drug was approved by the FDA last year and was marketed as the first “female viagra,” but so far taking the supposed libido pill is said to result in just “half of one satisfying sexual encounter a month,” according to the New York Times. A study which looked at nearly 6,000 women found that Addyi simply was not effective, especially considering its numerous side effects.

“[Some] public health groups and some other women’s groups contended that the science did not justify its approval. The drug’s effects were modest, they said, and not worth side effects such as sleepiness, dizziness, fatigue, and nausea,” reported the Times. Not only that, but the study was not able to define what “half of one satisfying sexual encounter a month” even meant (half an orgasm? Sex was kinda-sorta okay?). Before this report, consumers were already skeptical about Addyi’s abilities, and sales of the drug have not been robust. We can only guess that this new report is probably going to take the wind out of Addyi’s sails for good, if you know what we mean.

Looking for a definitively satisfying sexual encounter? You don’t need Big Pharma for that—we’ve got all the thrills and none of the side effects right here!

FDA Approves Drug to Help Sexual Desire in Women

femaleviagraAfter being rejected twice by the FDA, the third time’s a charm for flibanserin, the new drug that helps women with low sexual desire. While flibanserin may sound like the female Viagra, it’s actually very different. Viagra treats the physiological problem in men of not being able to respond to the desire they feel; this drug aims to treat the problem of not feeling desire in general, which is mental not physical. For this reason, the drug has been controversial, and many people wonder if it can even be effective.

Basically, for the 8-9% of women who have low sexual desire (meaning there’s nothing physically wrong; they just have no motivation for sex), the drug is said to rewire the “desire circuits” in their brains to help them eventually feel more motivation to have sex. Women with this problem have a hard time turning off the critical or judgmental part of their brains when it comes to sex, so this drug hopes to increase the brain’s reward circuits to make sex more exciting and less cerebral. But so far the results of the drug have been mild for the small amount of women it might actually work for (only those with low serotonin levels), and there are side effects that many might consider a deal-breaker. In the meantime, this new drug aimed at helping women’s sexual desire is definitely a historical landmark.
