British Royals Are Top Celeb Sex Doll Requests

It seems sex doll enthusiasts really want to get raunchy with the royals. A leading UK adult toy company has revealed that Princess Diana, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are among their top celebrity sex doll requests. Toymakers say they are inundated with requests for look-alike life-size sex dolls.

“We get requests for Princess Diana regularly, especially after the latest series of ‘The Crown,’ but we would never open ourselves up to accusations of cheapening her memory,” the CEO said. “If we were just motivated by money we would create Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton dolls and see through sales who is the most popular, but at heart, I am a royalist.” Meanwhile, the British XXX company says it’s also flooded with requests for sex dolls that look like London-born hunk Tom Hardy, as well as Tu-Pac.

Documentary Explores Kinksters Who Marry Their Sex Dolls

woman-1990228_640A new documentary on Starz called “Silicone Soul” focuses on the people who literally love their sex dolls. The documentary delves into the subculture of proto-robot relationships, which are typically made up of heterosexual men who fall for fake women. The devoted sex-doll kinksters even go so far as to marry their realistic-looking plastic partners, who provide both emotional and sexual comfort.

One man paid around $6,000 each for his “wife” and “girlfriend,” who are in a “hierarchical polyamorous relationship.” He says, “we’re all in love, it’s all equal, but [the wife] is number one.” The documentary also shows a couple who used the dolls to spice up their sex life and saved their marriage. “It’s just a matter of time before people say ‘OK, this whole synthetic option that he keeps going on about is something that I should look into,’” says one of the kinksters who’s an advocate for “synthetic love.”

Interest In Male Sex Dolls Is On The Rise

17052634_81459f773e_z (1)Move over, Real Dolls—consumers are thirsty for male sex dolls these days. Demand for male sex dolls has steadily increased, especially among gay and transgender folks. The owner of a sex doll brothel in Spain which features male sex dolls said, “We have recently attended to several clients who request an appointment with male dolls and female dolls at the same time.”

The owner of sex doll manufacturer 1 AM Dolls said that sales of male sex dolls have increased from around 5 percent to 15 percent since the company first offered them four years ago. Most of that boom, he said, is because of a cultural de-stigmatization of the sex toy and openness within the LGBT community. The company sells a male model with a fully flexible penis and attachments to transform female dolls into transgender dolls.

Photo Series Explores the Fetish Community of Female Masking

Daniel Handal is a photographer who was interested in exploring the female masking community, or a group of men who like to put on women’s fetish wear and latex masks to transform themselves into living dolls. Handal was fascinated with the way these men who wear female masks “create multi-layered alter egos and assume fictional characters while documenting their role playing with photographs and sharing stories on community blogs.” He wanted to photograph the strange and kinky fetish world, but he found that the only way he could gain access was to don a mask himself!

He first met his subjects at Rubber Doll World Rendezvous, an annual conference for female maskers. But he wanted to photograph the female maskers in a more natural setting where the role-play and exhibition aspects of the fetish culture could truly be expressed. His documentary style approach—while wearing a female mask himself—allowed him to capture the action while actually participating in fetish play as well. “His camera made him stand out, but because he was also in costume, he was also part of the subculture” reports Slate. Now that the photo series is complete, Handal wants people to see the complexity of the female maskers, but also not to take anything too seriously—“It’s role playing, meant to be wicked fun,” he says.
