ABC Will Air Documentary About Porn Site OnlyFans

The ABC is set to investigate the growing popularity of “democratized porn” by screening a documentary about OnlyFans. The documentary Nude Next Door will lift the lid on the subscription-based adult website popular with influencers and reality stars. “It will feature some wonderful women who open up about the rewards, risks and realities of being on this notorious platform,” the director said in a statement.

Many reality TV stars and internet celebrities have capitalized on their fame by joining OnlyFans. The likes of Hayley Vernon, Jessika Power and Ines Basic from Married At First Sight have found success on the platform, as has Charlie Taylor from Love Island. Even ABC News Breakfast sports reporter Tony Armstrong joined the website.

UK Public Television Set To Air Documentary On How To Have A Threesome

Blac Chyna announced she’s producing a docuseries about adult entertainers on OnlyFans. “OnlyCam: LA” will give an in-depth look at the lives of on-camera sex workers, who have seen their earnings explode since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. The steamy documentary produced by Chyna includes former “Bachelorette” cast member Chad Johnson, who’s recently gotten into porn—in particular, the world of foot fetishes.

Pornhub To Release First Non-Porn Movie

Pornhub is releasing its first ever non-adult film in hopes of expanding audiences and diversifying its content. The movie is a documentary called “Shakedown” about the queer women and men who populated the lesbian strip club scene in Los Angeles in the early aughts. The film’s director was intrigued by Pornhub since she’s specifically hoping to engage Pornhub’s female users.

Pornhub says, “This film is part of a larger general commitment Pornhub has to supporting the arts. We want to be seen as a platform that artists and creators can use.” Repped by distributor Grasshopper, the movie will stream on Pornhub for free for the entire month of March before hitting broadcast on the Criterion Channel, and, finally, the iTunes store by summer. Pornhub adds, “We’ve seen artists in general upload content to the site, that might not have a home at places like YouTube or Vimeo, who don’t permit nudity. For us, premiering a feature length film is a first. We’re very excited about it.”
