Dinky One, a niche dating app dedicated to men with smaller penises, has turned out to be a really big deal. When it launched, the UK-based dating site attracted around 33,000 members (pun intended) within two days, with a fifth of men joining identifying as gay or bisexual – although it’s open to all genders and sexualities. While the site aims to make men more comfortable and tackle the stigma around the issue, it’s also geared towards women who prefer a smaller dick.
The idea of a smaller manhood appeals to women who enjoy an element of control in the bedroom: one woman said, “Being a dominant woman, the idea of man with a small dick really appeals. I don’t want to have him on me, asserting his authority.” She adds, “He should be pleasing me orally or with toys. If he does a good job then I will let him orgasm, but only under my terms.” Another woman said she doesn’t enjoy sex with a man whose dick is bigger than 4 inches: “In the past have had to resort to oral but miss that close intimacy of sex,” she explained in a testimonial on the site.
