NiteFlirt’s 2025 Year in Review

As we kick off a new year, we’re looking back at 2025. A time when desire didn’t disappear, it became more intentional.

From searches to chats to calls, the story of 2025 is clear: fantasy shifted toward experiences that felt familiar, exclusive, and chosen.

This is our first NiteFlirt Year in Review, a look at how people chose to connect, and what those patterns revealed about desire across 2025.

The Trend That Defined 2025

With everything going on in the world, one trend surfaced again and again across the platform in 2025: what we call comfort calls.

Interest in established kink dynamics like femdom, cuckold, and BDSM remained strong. Alongside them, people gravitated toward roleplay rooted in recognizable relationship energy. Girlfriend and boyfriend scenarios, husband and wife dynamics, and pregnancy fantasies all saw meaningful growth.

Comfort didn’t replace kink. It grounded it.

In a year that often felt anything but steady, fantasy in 2025 wasn’t only about escalation or intensity. It was about warmth, intimacy, and the ease of being understood. Desire still sparked, but it unfolded at its own pace, creating experiences that felt personal rather than performative.

Top Searched Terms in 2025

For the second year in a row, “Miss” held the top spot as the most searched term on NiteFlirt. Its staying power reflects a continued pull toward dynamics that feel structured, distinctive, and relational.

What stood out this year was how sharply some interests shifted. Terms like “Bodybuilder” and “Bad Girl,” both top-10 searches in 2024, dropped out of the top 50 entirely.

At the same time, “Asian” and “Pregnant” surged into the top 10 after not appearing in the top 50 the year before.

Together, these changes point to a broader pattern. Fantasy moved closer, favoring scenarios that felt lived-in, warm, and emotionally charged.

Most Viewed Categories 2025

In 2025, kink-play and domination-focused categories remained among the most viewed across Women, Men, and Trans listings. What stood out was how often those interests intersected with the comfort-driven shift of the year.

Desire, by Geography: Top Relative Searches by State 2025

Across the U.S., search behavior reflected a wide range of unique preferences shaped by local culture and rhythm. Several states had a search term in their top three that didn’t appear in the top ten anywhere else.

While tastes varied, one theme held steady. Fantasies that balanced eroticism with emotional closeness resonated across regions.

Top States for Calls-per-User 2025

Examining calls per user provided a clearer picture of engagement.

In 2025, California led the way. Arizona stood out as the only state to rank in the top five for both calls per user and chats or messages per user.

In places where engagement ran highest, interactions unfolded over time. Customers returned to familiar voices and let conversations and calls develop naturally.

Top States for Chats/Messages-per-User 2025

When it came to chats and messages per user, Texas claimed the top spot. Perhaps, everything really is bigger there, including conversations.

Only Arizona appeared in the top five for both calls and messages. While not technically a state, the District of Columbia earned a notable mention, ranking second overall.

What the Year Revealed

The patterns of 2025 tell a clear story.

People still wanted kink. They still wanted boldness and fantasy. But more than anything, they wanted experiences that felt unmistakably one-to-one, uniquely theirs, and human.

Across searches, browsing, chats, and calls, one thing held true: fantasy resonated most when it felt personal.

Thanks for making 2025 one of the most interesting years we’ve seen on NiteFlirt. We’re looking ahead to 2026 with curiosity, confidence, and anticipation.

Streamers Dominated Pornhub Searches In 2019

9741737763_d422cd07c8_zAccording to Pornhub, international attention has shifted from film and television stars to YouTubers and other social media influencers. Streamer Belle Delphine, a prominent YouTuber who announced plans to launch her own Pornhub channel, was the most-searched on the platform. She beat out Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and even Kylie Jenner for the top search spot.

According to Pornhub’s data, “watching Belle consume an actual cream pie was still sexy enough to gain her millions of views and 30.9 million searches.” Searches for Delphine came close to 31 million, while Kardashian only racked up 18 million searches, and Cardi B had nearly 12 million searches. Delphine wasn’t the only streamer users were searching on Pornhub: popular social media personalities Lena the Plug, SSSniperWolf, Tana Mongeau, and even PewDiePie were prominently featured.

Fertility Apps Are Sharing Users’ Private Sexual Info With Facebook

The personal sexual data of millions of women have been shared with Facebook via fertility tracking apps, a Privacy International report has found. These apps collect information such as when a user starts or stops their period, moods, cravings, sex life, and other sensitive information. This may have been sent to Facebook and used to market targeted ads.

Two of the fertility tracking apps have a combined 7 million users. Investigators found that the data regarding users’ sexual health was sent to Facebook without obtaining consent from the users. This is just the latest in a slew of data breaches over the last five years but is almost entirely different from any other: by tracking and reporting data to Facebook concerning users’ mood, cycle, and sex life, advertisers are able to target specific advertisements–such as emotional ads–at specific times of the month.

Android And iPhone Users Like Totally Different Porn, xHamster Finds

It seems Android and iPhone users have different tastes when it comes to phones and porn. New data from xHamster shows some pretty striking differences in the types of kinks users enjoy in the mobile platforms. The site compiled the top 100 search terms for each major operating system and found that people who uses either platform all agreed to one thing: Moms are hot (ranking No. 1).

Other than that, iOS users have a distinctive fetish for BBW (big beautiful women), while Android fans like “Japanese moms,” which snagged second place for most searched for term. And while Mac users tend to be attracted to cuckold content, Arab themes, and Black porn, Android users like “daddy daughter” (No. 26), “sister” (No. 12), and “granny” (No. 7). xHamster’s president said, “In our hyper-partisan world, we’re glad to see that no matter who you are, or where you come from, we can agree on importance of mom, teens and anal.”

Facebook and Google Can See What Porn You’re Watching

5447512772_d12336359c_zFacebook, Google and Oracle cloud are secretly tracking the porn you watch, according to a new joint study from Microsoft, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of Pennsylvania. Researchers investigated 22,484 sex sites to expose tracking tools funneling data back to third parties. “Our results indicate tracking is endemic on pornography websites: 93% of pages leak user data to a third-party,” the study finds.

Researchers discovered that Google and its various outlets had trackers on 74% of the top porn sites, Oracle had 24% and Facebook 10%, study authors report. Even if you’re in “incognito” mode and aren’t storing porn in your browser history, the data still gets fed to these third parties. Even worse: researchers discovered that only 17% of the porn sites were encrypted, which leaves lots of opportunities for what study authors refer to as “widespread data leakage” and hacker “sextortion.”

Pornhub Reports Bump In Traffic Amid Government Shutdown

dollenBesides lining up at the unemployment office, furloughed government workers have to find something to do with their time. Considering all the stress that comes with going without a pay check for a month, it only makes sense that they’ve taken to Pornhub to unwind. In data released recently, the adult video platform reports that traffic showed an average daily increase of 5.94% during the week of Jan. 7th (the shutdown’s third week) over traffic in the weeks before the shutdown, which started on Dec. 22.

Pornhub notes a shift with heavy increases in traffic late at night with lower traffic than usual during the morning followed by another traffic spike in the early afternoon—similar to other events like winter storms in which people might stay up later because they don’t have to go to work the next day. Additionally, Pornhub traffic in the Washington, D.C. area showed a similar spike over the same time period with an average daily increase of 6.32 percent versus pre-shutdown traffic. It seems government workers especially like the following X-rated categories: outdoor, threesome, and old/young.

This Company Wants To Pay You Virtual Money To Watch Porn

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_moneysexA new cryptocurrency and porn platform wants to pay you internet money to watch porn—in exchange for your data. Vice Industry Token Inc. offers consumers, content creators, and distributors cryptocurrency that can be spent on content and services from the company and its partners to engage with their adult entertainment platform. But while you are getting paid to jerk off, you are also handing over your data.

Gizmodo explains, “Like many popular cryptocurrencies, VIT is built on an open-source blockchain, which is where tokens are generated and distributed. It is also where each user’s engagement on the platform—watching videos or commenting, for example—is recorded.” According to the company, documenting users’ data lets porn platforms “more accurately identify viewers preferences, allowing them to refine and create better content for viewers.” Since users readily hand over their data on social media sites and apps, this isn’t a unique model. Still, it remains to be seen whether people will want more, ahem, sensitive data—like what they’re getting off to—to be handed over to strangers.

Looking for a “refined” sexual experience? We can always give you just what you’re looking for on NiteFlirt!

Pornhub Reveals The Most Popular Gaming Character Searches

PikachuSexPornhub revealed 2017’s most popular gaming characters that users love to watch fuck, and the results are pretty interesting. When it comes to porn searches, female characters are the stars: of the 16 characters listed by Pornhub, 13 are female. The hot women of Overwatch snagged the top three spots—D.Va, Mercy, and Tracer—with over 8 million searches combined on the porn mega-site.

After that, “Misty from Pokémon (2.6 million searches) beat out Tomb Raider’s Lara Craft ( 2.2 million searches) for a fourth place spot and Zelda grabbed number six,” reports Daily Dot. Pokemon’s Ash was the only male character to make the list, which goes to show that in the male-dominated gaming world, sexy female characters win the porn popularity contest. Besides hot lady heroes, users also want to see non-human characters like Pokémon Gardevoir and Pikachu get it on.
