These Cities Have The Hottest Sex In Winter

volcanoIt seems cold winter nights get Americans hot and bothered. The Kinsey Institute’s sexperts asked 5,000 people of “all ages, ethnicities, incomes and walks of life” about their sex lives to determine how much or little sex people have in winter. The research considered the amount of casual dating that goes on in a given city, as well as the amount of sex locals are having, to rank American cities’ seasonal sex lives.

The study found that frigid Midwestern city Indianapolis took the top spot with the most sex in winter. Other cities that know how to stay warm when it’s cold outside include Denver, Chicago and Columbus, which took spots three, four and eight, respectively. But while cold-weather states took many of the top spots, San Diego actually ranked No. 2.

Why You Feel Horny When You’re Sick

white-1822497_640If you’ve ever felt horny while lying around sick in bed, you’re not alone. Research suggests that being aroused while you have a cold is a real thing – and it might serve a purpose. Scientists hypothesize that sexual feelings and sickness might be the body’s way of giving you the boost you need to get over a cold.

That’s because cumming – like any other stimulation – revs up the central nervous system. “In particular, it stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, the same part of our brain-body communication that decongestants activate in order to constrict blood vessels and tissues which, in turn, helps to alleviate congestion and let air flow more freely,” reports Daily Mail. Sweaty sheets, hot skin, tired from head to toe—sex or sick day, or both?

Sex Helps You Get Pregnant and Fight a Cold

best_phone_sex_niteflirt_sex9Sex seems to be nature’s miracle: it helps head aches, stomach aches, boosts happiness and well-being, and now, according to two new studies, has proven to help women conceive and fight a cold! Newsweek reported on two papers that show sex can boost the immune system and can increase a woman’s chance of getting pregnant even if she’s getting laid during infertile times. So, basically, if you’re trying to have a baby (and hate getting sick), having a lot of sex is your best bet!

This is because the healthy cells that get built up in sexually active women to help them conceive also boosts the immune system, which helps the body fight off infections and illness. Frisky ladies also have more white blood cells and antibodies, helpful for fighting off “bacteria, viruses and other microbes.” In other words, their bodies go into protective mode in case of pregnancy—which is why the ladies who weren’t getting laid did not have the same antibodies as those who were. This finding shows that couples don’t need to wait for peak ovulation times to try and get pregnant—the best course of action is just to go at it as much as possible!

Feeling a bit frisky yourself? We are all about getting laid as often as possible!
