The 39th annual AVN—aka, “Oscars of Porn”—celebrated all the hottest porn stars and skin flicks from the past year. Gianna Dior won the illustrious Performer of the Year award, while Angela White was named “Fan-Favorite.” Blake Blossom is the porn star to watch in 2022, taking home the honor of “Hottest Newcomer.”

Kendra Lust and Alexis Fawx were the hot winning MILFs, and Daisy Ducati kept it kinky as the AVN’s “Niche Performer of the Year.” Bad Kittyyy kept things bootylicious and won “Favorite BBW Star.” Winning X-rated films included the porn parody Black Widow XXX, and the BDSM Movie of the Year, Diary of a Madman.

Meet the Man Making Porn Into an Art Form 

5251858320_e30b4d759c_zGreg Lansky, two-time AVN Director of the Year award winner and chief creative director behind the adult studios Blacked, Tushy, and Vixen, is carving out a niche in the adult marketplace with his artful, high-definition porn. Lansky’s willingness to go the extra mile to indulge in elegant sex is a testament to his passion for high-quality adult entertainment. “When we started the company the odds were against us,” Lansky tells The Daily Beast. But now that his company is three years old, the appeal of well-made porn is starting to catch on.

“It’s important to show that we don’t invest money back into stupid ads or into creating cheap content,” says Lansky, who wants to pay homage to the more glamorous porn he grew up with. “I try to create a product that the adult performers are inspired by, that they feel proud of, and the promotion does itself,” he explains. His studios specialize in black-on-white porn (Blacked), backdoor entertainment (Tushy), and “beautiful girls in first-time porn videos” (Vixen). Last year, Blacked’s film Being Riley took home the most AVN Awards—the porn world’s Oscars—of any film, with five wins. So far, it seems everyone’s feeling “inspired” by all his hard work.

You probably think that a porn stars‘ wildest experiences happen on camera, right? Well, it turns out that porn stars have some pretty crazy moments off-camera, with their fans. Here, adult entertainers reveal their craziest fan experiences in WoodRocket’s “Ask a Porn Star” series.

One porn star received a “letter for Santa” requesting that she send him a “fart mask” for Christmas. Aiden Starr said that just today a fan asked to eat a burrito out of her ass. Another strange (creepy) request came from a guy who offered an adult performer $1,000 to chop off his dick. And Sheridan Love had a fan ask if she could poop in his hotel room toilet, but not flush so he could eat it later. Kassondra Raine also received a similar offer from a fan, except he added that “it would be wonderful” if she watched him do it. Wow, those are some crazy fans!
