Spotify is getting X-rated. People keep uploading nudes and hardcore porn images to the music site, even though it’s against Spotify’s rules. Spotify’s terms of service forbid “pornography or visual depictions of genitalia or nudity presented for the purpose of sexual gratification”—and the site says that it frequently identifies and takes down such content. 

But Vice reported that even Spotify searches for periods or commas can turn up XXX results. In addition to user-uploaded porn images on playlists, Spotify is also brimming with “audio porn.” That includes records of users reading erotica or making sounds that are designed to be sexually arousing. Snapchat CEO’s Sister Creates Popular Erotic App

The “audio porn” app created by the sister of Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel is gaining traction as it recently surpassed 300,000 subscribers. Some creators can earn as much as $5,000 per month by submitting stories which users can access for $2.99 per month. The app’s popularity has earned it more than 100,000 followers on TikTok as well as a specially-branded podcast that focuses on issues like body image, dating, and women’s rights. “It’s not watered down. It’s not what people think women want. It’s made directly in response to what women want—and that is something new.”

Hacked Scooters Make Sexual Comments To Riders

Lime responded to the incident in a statement: “We are aware that eight Lime scooters in Brisbane have had their audio files changed by vandals recording over the existing audio file with inappropriate and offensive speech.” This isn’t Lime’s first PR problem—other scooters were taken out of circulation earlier this year after a firmware glitch caused the front wheels to lock up unexpectedly, resulting in several customers being injured after getting launched over the handlebars.
