YouPorn Launches Adult-Themed TikTok

MindGeek is jumping on the TikTok craze with YouPorn SWYP, which promises “a new way to discover content by seamlessly scrolling through videos.” The site studies the viewer’s tastes and “recommends adult entertainment curated specifically for their viewing pleasure.” Mobile viewers can swipe left to see a full porn clip from YouPorn, swipe up to see the next video, or go back to the last video by swiping down.

“SWYP was designed to be an easier, more visually enticing way to watch porn and discover new content,” said a YouPorn representative. “Nowadays people want to consume content as quickly as possible and SWYP provides our users with just that. They no longer need to click on play buttons.” The future of porn is now!

Sex Toy App Tells Women How Many Calories They Burn While Masturbating

A new Fitbit-style app linked to vibrators can tell women exactly how many calories they’ve burnt by masturbating. ZALO USA is the first sex toy manufacturer in the world to offer the feature, which they claim is based on an algorithm backed by a scientific study which suggests masturbating burns around three calories every minute. The research the app is based on found sex – from foreplay to climax – burns the equivalent of 3.6 calories every minute.

ZALO admits masturbation will not burn as many calories as sex, but after testing on 218 women, they found the women burned up to six calories every minute. The calorie-counting app monitors the duration, the setting of vibration women choose to use, and even how loud women are while masturbating. ZALO says the higher the vibrations, the higher a woman’s heart rate – which means she will burn more calories – and if a woman masturbates three times a week for 10 minutes, she could burn 90 calories.

YouPorn Launches New App

We’ve got good news for YouPorn users: the site just got a brand spanking new app (pun intended). The adult website is launching their own app that it says will bring quicker load times, more privacy, and all the YouPorn content you want on your phone. YouPorn said, “Not only will users gain quicker and more convenient access, but most importantly are given an even more secure and private way to explore content using open technologies without needing platform specific app marketplaces or cumbersome side-loading certificates which could make one’s devices less secure.”

According to the site, the app will provide 50 percent quicker loading times and the same content on the YouPorn site itself, ensuring you can get down to your… ahem, usual business. YouPorn said this about the app’s privacy capabilities: “Because we use strong encryption and run outside the web browser, a users’ search and browsing history are not available to view by other users.” Here’s to quick, convenient and safe adult entertainment!

tumblr To Ban Porn

Starting on December 17th, social media mainstay tumblr will be firmly cracking down on adult content (what we at NiteFlirt call “fun”). Their help center describes “adult content” as “photos, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples, and any content—including photos, videos, GIFs and illustrations—that depicts sex acts”. Any images that they deem too racy or questionable will be flagged and possibly taken down; they also say that even blogs that are marked “explicit” before December 17th will be hidden (but not deleted, they seem to give some time to backup that content if the owner wants), but that content may not be acceptable at all, and “will be actioned accordingly”, whatever THAT means.

This news comes after tumblr’s app was removed from Apple’s App Store on November 16th because child pornography hadn’t been filtered properly.

The backlash to this change in their standards has been quick, like the response from the Free Speech Coalition, a group that stands up to defend the adult industry. They were clear in their post condemning tumblr’s rule change, and you can read their full letter here, but in short they came out hard to condemn what they see as outright censorship and stigmatization of adult content:

“As legitimate platforms ban or censor adult content — having initially benefited from traffic that adult content brought them — illegitimate platforms for distribution take their place. The closure of Tumblr only means more piracy, more dispersal of community, and more suffering for adult producers and performers.”

That’s some strong stuff. And they’re not alone; the message from the CEO and co-founder of ManyVids, Bella French, called the move “simply shameful and blatantly discriminatory” as posted to their blog.
