There’s Now A Sex App For Widows

A horny widow is launching an app called Widow’s Fire for other bereaved spouses craving no strings attached sex—and thousands want to join. The term “widow’s fire” is commonly used within the widower’s community to describe the intense, uncontrollable, or all-consuming desire for sex following the bereavement of a partner. “I shared my bed with my husband for 20 years, and then all of a sudden he’s not there,” she said. “If you have a healthy sex life, that is going to be a gaping void. We all need and crave affection, cuddles and stolen kisses.”

Widow’s Fire requires members to provide their spouse’s death certificate to prove they are eligible to be on the app. The app’s founder said she’s been overwhelmed by the positive response: “I think if I can help some people find some joy, that helps me make sense of my loss,” she said. “It has given me a reason to get up in the morning and a reason to be.”

Snapchat CEO’s Sister Creates Popular Erotic App

The “audio porn” app created by the sister of Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel is gaining traction as it recently surpassed 300,000 subscribers. The app offers erotic content geared toward women, created to give women an alternative to the standard, visually-dominated porn that is normally consumed by men, its founder said. Like Peloton, the app invites users to create their own content and submit 10-minute fantasy-based audios that are “like the kind of good sex people want” and which are “designed to make you orgasm.”

Some creators can earn as much as $5,000 per month by submitting stories which users can access for $2.99 per month. The app’s popularity has earned it more than 100,000 followers on TikTok as well as a specially-branded podcast that focuses on issues like body image, dating, and women’s rights. “It’s not watered down. It’s not what people think women want. It’s made directly in response to what women want—and that is something new.”

New ‘Sexual Meditation’ Apps Bring Listeners To Climax, Then Sleep

A hot new “sexual meditation” app is designed to bring listeners to orgasm by inducing them into a state of extreme relaxation. Guided by Glow offers listeners a range of guided “erotic audio sessions” for $8.99 a month. The app has quickly attracted a legion of followers, and has even been endorsed by Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.

Guided by Glow features a number of different sessions and storylines which usually begin with guided breathing exercises designed to relax the listener; then the narrator instructs the listener to start sensually touching themselves. Guided by Glow’s creator explained that she wrote her first guided meditation for her app after finding herself unsatisfied with online porn: “I haven’t had a lot of resonance with conventional porn, but I’ve always done yoga. I love to surrender and stop thinking and just flow,” she said. Sessions last between eight and 25 minutes, with listeners able to choose from male, female and non-binary voices to guide them through the erotic exercises.

Brits Seek Threesomes At Record Number

After months together in lockdown, British couples are looking to spice up their sex lives with threesomes, a new study reveals. Dating app Feeld, which is designed for “open-minded” people, has reported a significant rise in the number of British users seeking threesomes since January 2020. The app—which allows couples to seek a “plus one” for their ménage à trois, or singletons to find people to fuck—said threesomes are listed as the most popular desire for singles, with a more than 670 percent increase.

There has also been a 50 percent increase in the number of couples seeking threesomes on the app. Researchers speculate the spike in threesomes is likely because couples are bored of their sexual routines since the pandemic. Horny people want to “live each day as if it is their last,” which means being more sexually adventurous.

Letterboxd Will Allow Users To Log Adult Films On The App

Letterboxd is adding a very naughty feature to its popular film review platform: XXX. The app will soon include erotic cinema, beginning with a “curated selection” of adult films. The platform allows users to keep track of movies they’ve watched, add star ratings and reviews, create themed lists of recommendations—which now includes adult entertainment.

Replying to a question on Twitter, Letterboxd confirmed that a curated selection of adult movies will soon be added to its massive library. Right now, X-rated images are often pixellated on the site, but users will apparently have the option to un-pixellate adult movie posters if they wish. Letterboxd’s list of adult movies probably won’t include contemporary porn, but will focus more on “Golden Age of Porn” films that were intended for cinematic release, and are considered to have serious cultural merit.

Woman Claims Tinder Date Tried To Sue Her For Turning Down Sex

Talk about a bad date. A Canadian woman is claiming that a lawyer she dated on Tinder tried suing her for turning down sex—as he claims that she had violated their “verbal contract.” A video chronicling the uproarious incident has 250,000 views on TikTok.

The woman said, “We went back to his place. It was implied that we were gonna hook up, but I never explicitly stated that.” She added, “I left and a few days later, he had paid someone to serve me with papers to like sue me for breaking a verbal contract.” One commenter suggested that she try to get the man disbarred, to which she replied, “I want to but I also don’t wanna ruin anyone’s whole career like I’d feel bad even tho he’s a creep.”

Discord Blocks iOS Users From Porn

Discord just cock-blocked Apple users—literally. The group chat service recently announced it will block iOS users—including those 18 and older—from accessing NSFW servers on the iOS Discord app. According to a Discord spokesperson, the new policy is an effort to “to comply with Apple’s policies.”

Many are criticizing Discord’s decision, especially when it comes to defining what servers are and are not X-rated—a policy that will undoubtedly negatively affect adult content creators who rely on the site. Tumblr infamously banned NSFW content in 2018, a move that was also widely criticized at the time. A former Tumblr employee clapped back at Discord’s policy change: “When we dealt with this at Tumblr, it became my full time job for weeks to find incredibly complex ways to appease Apple’s censors,” he tweeted. “This happened every time they found a sexy blog they didn’t like.”

Denmark Launches Sexual Consent App

A new sexual consent app in Denmark allows lovers to grant permission to fuck from their smartphones. The press of a button on the iConsent app gives “one intercourse” which is valid for 24 hours and can be withdrawn at any time. Developers say the app gives people the “opportunity to document your consent to intercourse” by allowing lovers to send and receive requests via their phones.

But they add that “consent in the app can never stand alone, and that it is up to you and the other party to secure your consent before, during and after intercourse.” The app has been met with a cool reception in Denmark, where one newspaper called it “as unsexy as another corona press conference.” A critic compared the app to “transferring money,” adding: “Now we’ve also created an app that removes any kind of human warmth from something we still need to be together for: sex.”

More People Cheating With Online Affairs During Lockdown

A new study shows people are still having naughty affairs during lockdown—they’ve just moved online. The study called “Infidelity in the Time of COVID-19” revealed that approximately 25% of all marriages experience infidelity, but now more than ever before, couples are engaging in extramarital affairs. Cheaters are using dating apps, where they can browse for hookups safely and subtly, the researchers found.

“Individuals who are dissatisfied in their current relationship are more likely to explore alternative options and the increased stress from the pandemic may be contributing to more negative perceptions for individuals of both their partner and their relationship,” they wrote. The findings are backed up by infidelity website AshleyMadison.com, which reported an uptick in new accounts created at an average rate of 17,000 per day since the pandemic started. The authors also cited data from the Kinsey Institute, which found that about 13% of people currently in a relationship have reached out to an ex-lover during the pandemic.
