Sex Dolls Are Social Media Influencers

There’s a new kind of influencer quickly racking up followers on social media, and even becoming big brand ambassadors: sex dolls. Tasha Marie is a sex doll with nearly 3,000 followers on Instagram, several lingerie and jewelry modeling contacts, and a popular OnlyFans account (she donates all of her earnings to the various sex workers in need that she’s befriended online). Her best friend, Alita, is another sex-doll-turned-virtual-vixen who’s become a lifestyle trendsetter to her more than 1,800 Instagram followers.

Alita’s owner and boyfriend recently submitted her photos to Maxim magazine’s annual Cover Girl competition. Another sex doll influencer faces discrimination on social media due to her saucy status: “Since Celestina is a sex doll, all of her social media content gets flagged as ‘adult content,’ even if it’s wholesome,” said her lover. “She used to have a YouTube channel, where she’d respond to news articles related to sex dolls for about 20,000 subscribers, but it got deleted.”

New Technology Means Sex Robots Could Soon Feel Sensations ‘Just Like Humans’

Sex robots could start to experience human-like sensations after scientists developed a new piece of artificial intelligence technology. The technology is part of a robotic platform that connects to sensors attached to “printed” human skin, which would allow the robots to feel senses such as touch. Scientists are hoping humans will be given more control over robots while also being protected from hazards—researchers believe it will allow robots to sense temperature and whether chemicals are toxic, according to the California Institute of Technology.

Scientists say that there will be sensors inside the “fingertips,” which makes it easier for robots to detect what’s around them. Researchers explain, “These sensors are literally printed onto the skin in the same way that an inkjet printer applies text to a sheet of paper.” One Caltech engineer thinks developers have demonstrated a “proof of concept,” but he wants to continue developing the skin, along with its durability so it can last longer, as well as its stability.

FDA Authorizes Latex Panties To Wear During Oral Sex

ALEXA FONTANILLA / AGGIE

In a historical first, the FDA has authorized panties to be used during oral sex to protect against STIs. The ultrathin, super-stretchy, vanilla-flavored panties are meant to be worn during oral sex for people “with vulvas.” For people of all ages, a protective barrier that is enjoyable to use could “reduce anxiety and increase pleasure around that particular behavior,” said a doctor who helped make the panties.

The only product previously authorized for protection during oral sex was a dental dam—a thin, rectangular sheet of latex (or sometimes polyurethane) that typically must be held in place with one’s hands to form a barrier between the mouth and genitals. “The F.D.A.’s authorization of this product gives people another option to protect against S.T.I.s during oral sex,” said director of the F.D.A. office that led the review of the underwear. “What’s interesting about this is that they have basically eroticized protection, which is something that condom companies have struggled with for years.”

The Best Sustainable Sex Toys To Celebrate Earth Day

If you want your sex life—not the Earth—to get hotter, we’ve got just the thing for you: sustainable sex toys. There are a lot of reasons sex toys are great, but sadly, their environmental impact isn’t really one of them. But now, many brands are ditching hard plastic and battery-reliant toys for silicone, rechargeable models.

There’s also plenty of glass and metal sex toys that won’t end up in a landfill. One green energy-powered sex toy company, Love Not War, makes vibrators out of a base of recycled aluminum and a head out silicone—and the recyclable box it’s mailed in contains no single-use plastic. There’s also Womanizer, who gave their popular clitoral suction toy a green upgrade by using a biodegradable alternative to plastic. Happy Earth Day!

Sexpert Reveals Crucial Mistake Women Make With Their Sex Toys

From dildos to butt plugs, sex toys seem pretty straight-forward—but according to an expert, there’s a crucial mistake women make. “Never, ever leave a vibe on charge for more than two hours,” she says. “Though it’s scandalously uncommon knowledge, most sex toys contain lithium-ion batteries—the same kind you’ll find in your laptop—which are sensitive to lengthy charging.”

She explained, “Leaving your vibrator plugged in overnight, or for an entire weekend, can create an unstable environment inside the battery, increasing pressure and ultimately putting your vibe at risk of burning out.” She advised waiting until the battery is low, but not dead, before charging. She also said to avoid hot environments: “Heat is extremely destructive to lithium-ion batteries, and definitely not your friend when you own a vibrator (it can also degrade the silicone most toys are made out of).”

Sex Tech Company Invents ‘VR Masturbation Pods’ For Employees

Stripchat, an adult social networking site, has announced that it will be offering its workers an exciting new perk: VR masturbation pods. The sex firm employs about 200 people and each one of them could get a paid “break” in the pod. Each employee is allowed a 30 minute pod break during the working day.

The company says each pod is “planned to come fully equipped with masturbatory accessories, including a 4K LED screen to watch VR cams boosted by Dreamcam’s technology, an Oculus Quest VR headset, lotion, tissues, and more.” It aims to “provide current and attract new employees with a safe, comfortable space” to masturbate at work. The company is also offering to lease the pods for $50,000 for six months.

Inside The High-Tech Sex Parties And BDSM Dungeons Of Silicon Valley

Tech moguls in Silicon Valley are lending their expertise to kinky sex. In one BDSM dungeon, there were gas masks with Apple earbuds, and a large iron cage that was “constructed in perfect proportion to the jail cells in Alcatraz by an MIT engineer,” said a dominatrix. She added, “Where do you think all the Apple engineers get their creative inspiration? I lock them up for the weekend.”

A former tech entrepreneur who sold his first company for $5 million started “Silicon Valley’s premier sex party”—where many of the guests were startup employees, software engineers and venture capitalists. Upstairs at a party was the “Magic Carpet Fuck Space,” a room carpeted in mattresses with red sheets and blue pillows. A venture capitalist was spotted at one of the sex-tech events “on his knees, naked, a giant multicolored tattoo on his lower back, thrusting back and forth.”

First-Ever Vegan Sex Toys Revealed

ALEXA FONTANILLA / AGGIE

The Vegan Society has given its Vegan Trademark to four sex toys made by sex tech company Vibio. The Vegan Trademark, now on the vibrators, indicates that an item does not contain any animal products, was not tested on animals and no animals were harmed in the process of making it. According to Sex Tech Guide, Vibio has been making vibrators since 2018 and has been aiming to make them available to vegans.

The marketing manager at The Vegan Society said: “Many people don’t realize that a lot of lubricants, toys, and even condoms can contain animal derivatives, such as certain enzymes, animal skin, and beeswax, or may have been tested on animals.” While there are other sex toys that are marketed as vegan, Vibio is the only company to get The Vegan Society stamp. Vibio’s co-founder added: “We’re firm believers on the power of tech when it comes to creating change and positive impact in the world, and wanted to apply this to the sexual wellness space.”

Nurse-Turned-Porn-Star Creates Crypto-Friendly XXX Site

A former nurse who made more than $1 million last year after she left her job to pursue a career as a virtual sex worker on OnlyFans says she’s creating her own platform for erotic performers who will be accepting payments in cryptocurrency. She quit her job as a nurse after her co-workers and bosses discovered that she had an account on OnlyFans. When given an ultimatum to delete the account or get fired, she chose to leave her job and focus solely on OnlyFans, where she said she earned almost $369,000 for each month she was on the site.

But now she’s leaving OnlyFans to officially launch her own XXX site, an OnlyFans-esque adult entertainment space that will process payments in cryptocurrency—meaning the identities of performers and customers will be more easily shielded. Consumers of erotic content can make purchases from their favorite online performers using digital stable coins, including Binance USD, ethereum, tether, dai, BNB, and AVAX. She explained, “I wanted to create a platform where sex workers can grow their business long-term without the fear of having to worry about big payment processors.”
