Survey Reveals What’s At The Top Of Men And Women’s ‘Sex Bucket List’

A survey of 2,000 sexually active American adults found that 64 percent have a sex bucket list, consisting of different sex acts and kinks they’d like to try. At the top of Americans’ sexual bucket lists are having sex in a car (30 percent), sex in a body of water (27 percent) and using a sex toy (25 percent). Rounding out the top five items are trying anal sex (21 percent) and having a one-night stand (19 percent).

Men’s fantasies included having a one night stand and making a sex tape, while women’s top 10 included having a sexy photoshoot, roleplay and experimenting with restraints, blindfolds and/or handcuffs. In addition to their sexual bucket lists, 24 percent of respondents have experimented with a new kink this year and 32 percent have already tried a new sexual position. “Creating a sexual bucket list is a great way for couples to share and explore fantasies in the bedroom (or outside the bedroom!),” researchers said.

The Great Sex Recession: Celibate Americans At Record High

Americans having no sex in the past year reached an all-time high, an intimate survey revealed. An analysis of new research data by The Washington Post reveals 18 percent of the women between the ages of 18 and 30 reported no sex in the past year, and 28 percent of men. This surprising trend could likely be because young people—especially young men—have a greater preference for video games and for porn.

The data on America’s bedroom habits was collected for the General Social Survey conducted by the NORC research organization at the University of Chicago and analyzed by the Post. The newspaper said its analysis underscored a three-decade trend line marked by an aging population and higher numbers of unattached people. The number of celibate millennials – up from 19 percent two decades ago – paints a grim picture of a nation fucking less and less.

A recent study looked at relationship data for nearly 7,000 over-50’s to explore the types of people who have the highest number of sex partners over their lifetime. It seems athletic women get laid a lot more often than couch potatoes, with 73 percent more likely to have fucked at least 10 partners. Researchers also found that drinkers and smokers were more than twice as likely to have 10-plus lovers.

Other interesting data: around one in five men said they had double-digit conquests, compared with one in 12 women. Men in the bottom and top earnings brackets also had the most partners. Marijuana Really Does Give Women Better Orgasms, Study Finds

A new study backs up what women pot smokers have long ago discovered: smoking marijuana increases sexual pleasure. According to a study that analyzed reports from hundreds of women, marijuana use prior to sex doubles the chances of having a more satisfying orgasm. Researchers explain this is because in addition to lowing sexual inhibitions, “marijuana is also known to heighten sensations such as touch, smell, sight, taste, and hearing.”

The researchers added, “Most women reported increases in sex drive, improvement in orgasm, decrease in pain, but no change in lubrication.” These differences translate to 2.13 higher odds of reporting “satisfactory orgasms” for women who smoke pot. The team concluded in the study published in the journal Sexual Medicine, “Marijuana appears to improve satisfaction with orgasm.”

Watching porn might make you bisexual, according to a study released by online porn site xHamster. The survey of 11,000 users found that the more porn you watch, the likelier you are to swing both ways. The study reveals that 22.36 percent of US porn users are bisexual, while only 4.05 percent categorize themselves as gay or lesbian, and 67.77 percent are heterosexual.

Researchers at xHamster found that 13.09 percent of people who watch porn once a week are bisexual, while watching once a day would land you in the 23.01 percent group of bisexuals. And if you log on for XXX action several times a day, you may count yourself among the 27.46 percent of xHamster’s frequent viewers who are bisexual. “We can only provide correlation, not prove causation, but it would seem that watching porn more frequently helps show users what sexuality can be,” says xHamster. “The more porn you watch, the more you may think, ‘Hey, that’s actually somewhat of a turn-on. Maybe I’m not as totally straight, or gay, as I thought.’”
