Legal sex booths where customers “drive-in” to meet sex workers have been called a “resounding success” by city officials in Zurich, Switzerland. The garage-like booths have been operating for five years after 52 percent of Zurich citizens voted to keep the local government spending $2 million on maintaining the facilities. The sex drive-in was created as a way to help prevent human trafficking and violence against sex workers by including security and on-site social services.

Thanks to government spending, the sex booths have had nice improvements, including “plank beds” for people who want to leave their cars to fuck. Once the customers arrive, one of the 24 women working agree to a price and go to the booth, which is not monitored but has an emergency alarm for safety. A spokesperson for the Zurich government said the area has been “effective in preventing violence against sex workers and human trafficking.” Way to go, Zurich!

Catholic Church Says Virgins Can Now Have Sex

While it might sound like a pretty funny SNL sketch, the Catholic Church is completely serious about its new announcement that virginity is no longer a prerequisite for consecration. The shocking ruling comes in the form of a new 39-page document published by the Vatican, saying actual virginity is not essential for a woman to become a consecrated virgin, because “spousal and fruitful love for Christ is not reducible to the symbol of physical integrity.”

In the Catholic Church, there are about 5,000 consecrated virgins, or women who have been consecrated by the church to a life of perpetual virginity in the service of God. The NY Post explains, “Unlike nuns, they do not live in enclosed communities or wear special clothing—most of them are integrated within the normal world and have regular jobs.” In a statement, the US Association of Consecrated Virgins called the document “deeply disappointing”—but perhaps they’ll feel differently once they finally start having sex?

The “StraightBoyz” website reportedly advertised videos of straight men being tricked into engaging in gay sex, and featured 600 or more videos. Investigators believe Deneumostier operated the site for four years. While the site isn’t currently up, the videos Deneumostier created may still be available on other porn sites—and Homeland Security is still tying to figure out how many victims were unknowingly filmed.
