Infamous Gay Conversion Therapist Comes Out As Gay

gaypo0rnDavid Matheson, one of the most prominent gay conversion therapists in the country, has devoted his career to attempting to “treat” gay men for their sexual orientation. Now, he recently wrote a Facebook post confirming his orientation, and apologizing for the harm he’s done to thousands: “Not that I would excuse myself, but any shortcomings I had as a therapist came from too narrow a view of what ‘emotionally healthy’ can look like,” he wrote.

Conversion therapy, which has been denounced by the American Medical Association and the American Psychological Association, has been banned in 15 states. Truth Wins Out says, “Conversion therapy employs guilt and shame to browbeat desperate and vulnerable people into renouncing their humanity.” Truth Wins Out also had this to say about Matheson’s apology:

“While I am pleased for Mr. Matheson that he has found a path forward for his life, I can’t help but think of the hundreds if not thousands of people who are still stuck in the closet, a closet that was created in part by Mr. Matheson himself. I hope that Mr. Matheson will do whatever he can to rectify the harm that he’s inflicted on many people in the LGBTQ community.”

Arizona Bill Would Tax Internet Porn To Fund Border Wall

KreampieKittyKatt01An Arizona lawmaker is calling for a tax on internet porn to fund Trump’s proposed border wall. Introduced by Rep. Gail Griffin (R-Ariz.), House Bill 2444 would impose a $20 fee for anyone wishing to view adult content online. The legislation would force distributers of any device capable of accessing the internet to install software that blocks access to pornography.

Only users who have paid the fee and proven themselves to be over 18 years of age would be permitted to bypass the filter. Not only that, but any distributor who fails to backdoor their devices with the porn-blocking software would be guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor. Aside from aiding a border wall, the legislation also calls for distributing funds to other areas including mental health services, temporary housing, and assistance for school districts and law enforcement.

Male Birth Control Gel Could Replace Condoms

The National Institutes of Health is funding an experimental study to evaluate the effectiveness of a gel that could be used as a male contraceptive, replacing condoms and vasectomies. The gel, called NES/T, includes progestin and testosterone, and is applied to the back and shoulders and absorbed through the skin.

The progestin blocks natural testosterone production in the testes, reducing sperm production to low or nonexistent levels, officials said. The replacement testosterone maintains normal sex drive and other functions that are dependent on adequate blood levels of the hormone, according to medical experts. “A safe, highly effective and reversible method of male contraception would fill an important public health need.” The future is now!

Chinese Novelist Sentenced To 10 Years In Jail For Gay Sex Scenes

A Chinese novelist has been given a 10-year jail sentence for writing gay sex scenes. The writer was jailed for “producing and selling pornographic materials,” which is illegal in China. His novel sold about 7,000 copies and described “a forbidden love affair between a teacher and student which officials said was filled with ‘graphic depictions of male homosexual sex scenes’ suffused with violence,” according to Newsweek.

China is in the midst of a heightened porn crackdown: “Last week, regulators doubled the reward money given to citizens who report pornographic content to police—$118,000 is now up for grabs,” reports ABC. “In the same week, China’s top cyber authority also wiped almost 10,000 accounts from various social media sites, accusing them of posting vulgar and ‘politically harmful information.’” Four others involved with the novel have also been jailed.
