Pornhub Gives NYC Health Care Workers 50k Masks And Free Porn

The porn mega-site has donated 50,000 surgical masks to New York health care workers while opening up its massive porn library for free. It’s all part of Pornhub’s “COVID-19 relief efforts,” which involve donations to organizations at the frontline of fighting the pandemic and incentiving staying at home with free porn.

Pornhub’s Premium service, which normally costs $9.99 a month, will be free worldwide for the next 30 days to encourage people to stay inside and stem the spread of the virus, the company said. That means porn lovers can get their fix of coronavirus-themed skin flicks at no extra cost, including in locked-down countries such as Italy and France. “With nearly one billion people in lockdown across the world because of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important that we lend a hand and provide them with an enjoyable way to pass the time,” Pornhub said.

Australia Wants To Use Face Scans To Unlock Online Porn

Australia’s government wants to scan the faces of people accessing adult websites. The Department of Home Affairs put forward the proposal in its submission to a parliamentary inquiry looking at age verification on online gambling and porn sites. There was immediate backlash, with opponents of the bill pointing out that a government facial recognition database would create an easy target for hackers.

Porn industry Eros Association said, “It will be interesting to see how many politicians are looking at porn. And I think they would have some interesting fetishes.” The department wrote that the facial verification technology was “primarily designed to prevent identity crime” but that it supported increased use of it “across the Australian economy to strengthen age verification processes.” Many compared it to the UK’s failed age verifying plan: “People will just make workarounds, whole new ways to to watch. Deaf Man Sues Pornhub Over Lack Of Closed Captioning

A deaf man doesn’t like the way Pornhub is fucking him… out of closed captioning. He filed a class-action lawsuit alleging the porn site is in violation of federal law under the Americans with Disabilities Act because the deaf and hearing-impaired can’t understand the audio portion of the skin flicks. As part of MindGeek, Pornhub makes up one of several adult websites in the company’s network, along with YouPorn and RedTube, which also are named in the lawsuit.

In the lawsuit, the man alleges he could not enjoy closed captioning on a variety of videos he tried to watch on the three sites, including “Hot Step Aunt Babysits Disobedient Nephew – Sofi Ryan – Family Therapy,” “Sexy Cop Gets Witness To Talk,” “A – – – Lesbian Action and Dirty Talk” and “18 YO Blonde Stripper Samantha DP In Homemade Gangbang Porn.” The lawsuit says, “The websites are ‘places of public accommodation’ which deny equal access to their video content which is available to hearing individuals and violates the ADA.” To make matters worse, the man pays for a premium subscription on Pornhub, which hosts millions of adult videos.

Women Win $13M Lawsuit Against GirlsDoPorn

The owners and operators of a San Diego-based porn website must pay $12.7 million after a judge found them liable for fraud and breach of contract for lying to women about how their explicit videos would be distributed. The site, GirlsDoPorn, was sued by nearly two dozen women who claimed they were deceived and coerced into making sex videos without knowing the footage would be posted on the internet. The judge ruled in favor of all 22 plaintiffs and against a total of 13 defendants, awarding the women $9.45 million collectively in compensatory damages and $3.3 million in punitive damages.

The judge ordered the defendants to take down the women’s sex videos and also granted the women’s request for ownership rights to their images that appeared on videos produced by the defendants and were posted on several adult websites. The judge also ordered the GirlsDoPorn website owners to prominently post in recruitment ads that videos would go on the internet. In addition, women who sign up to make the videos must get copies of the legal agreement ahead of time and give permission before their names or personal information are used.

First Male Birth Control Almost Ready For Dicks

Finally, male birth control is ready and rearing go. The Indian Council of Medical Research, a government-funded biomedical research agency, has successfully completed a clinical trial on an injectable male contraceptive. “ICMR has been researching on it to turn it into a product for mass use since 1984, and the final product is ready after exhaustive trials,” said the senior scientist with ICMR.

The scientist added, “The trials are over, including extended, Phase 3 clinical trials for which 303 candidates were recruited with a 97.3% success rate and no reported side effects. The product can safely be called the world’s first male contraceptive.” The birth control method, which lasts approximately 13 years, involves injecting a polymer, called styrene maleic anhydride, into the vas deferens, effectively blocking sperm from leaving the testicles. The shot is designed to supplant a traditional vasectomy, but because of pending regulatory approval, it “will still take about six to seven months … before the product can be manufactured”.

UK Government Ditches ‘Porn Block’

The UK government has permanently shelved its controversial “porn block,” which would have enforced age verification on porn sites. In a statement, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) confirmed that the government “will not be commencing part three of the Digital Economy Act (2017).” This act, which was dubbed the “porn block,” would have made the UK the first country in the world to introduce age verification laws for online porn.

The age checks would have required uploading a passport or driving license or purchasing a “porn pass” from a store to prove one’s age. After repeated stalling and rescheduling, the government has eventually ditched the plan entirely. The government has decided that its “objective of coherence will be best achieved through our wider online harms proposals and, as a consequence, will not be commencing Part 3 of the Digital Economy Act 2017 concerning age verification for online pornography.”
