Yoga Teacher Can Reach ‘Deep’ Orgasm With No Stimulation Thanks To Her Practice

An Estonian yoga teacher has learned how to orgasm “almost instantly” without any stimulation. The woman taught herself over the course of a decade how to achieve “deep sexual satisfaction” after traditional sex proved unsatisfying. Now, she claims she can orgasm for up to 10 minutes without stimulation due to “years of yoga and tantric training.”

“I learned to relax and let go, accepted body image and brought increased mindfulness also to daily life in general,” she told researchers in a study published in the journal Sexual Medicine. “In addition, I did pelvic floor exercises, breast massage practice and practices to release shame and guilt.” Researchers found that the orgasms she taught herself were nearly as pleasurable as her clitoral or anal ones—and she claims, “What I just did, I know every woman can do it.”

Sexperts Debunk G-Spot Myth

Sexual health experts want to dispel the myth that the G-spot is a magical “orgasm button.” They claim calling the area the G-spot is misleading because it’s actually part of the five “erotic zones” inside the pussy—and they want to rename it as a G-zone. The term “G-spot” was coined in honor of a mid-20th-century German gynecologist who observed that this region contained a “distinct erotogenic zone.”

We now know that this area is made up of five different tissues—found in different locations of the female genitalia—each serving a different purpose during sex. While many want to rename the G-spot, the jury is still out on exactly where to find it, with some researchers recently comparing it to the legend of the Holy Grail or the lost city of Atlantis. Meanwhile, sex therapists and other experts want to further confuse everyone by having a name for every spot—the A-spot, the E-spot and the C-spot.

‘Fertility Friendly’ Lube Can Harm Sperm, Study Claims

Many lubricants which claim to be sperm-safe could actually be harmful. A study found three lubes marketed as “sperm-friendly” can reduce motility, or their ability to swim in the right direction. Some products were found to reduce sperm motility, while others stopped sperm from being able to move altogether.

Traditional lubes have been shown to damage sperm motility because they are too acidic, which has led to an increase in demand for so-called “fertility-friendly” lubricants. These products cost up to four times more than traditional lube. Lead author of the study said: “This study is important because it highlights that these so-called sperm-friendly lubricants may actually hinder normal conception.”

Binging Porn Affects Men And Women Differently In Bed, Study Says

It seems men suffer—and women excel—by regularly indulging in adult entertainment. A new study has found frequent porn viewing can have disastrous effects on men’s sex lives, leaving them with low self-esteem, erectile dysfunction and an inability to satisfy their lovers. The research found that the more kinky videos a man watched over time, the more likely he was to report poor levels of sexual function.

Frequent male porn viewers had more problems maintaining erections and reaching ejaculation, and they reported lower levels of desire when it came time to have actual sex. Meanwhile, the study also surveyed thousands of women, and found the complete opposite: the more frequently a woman watched porn, the more likely she was to experience an increase in sexual self-competence, functioning and satisfaction. Researchers were unable to conclusively explain the reasons for this unexpected find but theorized it was due to the fact that women generally prefer softcore porn: “Men watch more hardcore/paraphilic porn and less softcore/mainstream porn than women . . . which may be associated with different sexual comparison processes and sexual outcomes.”

The Scientific Reason Why Men Fall Asleep After Sex

Science has a reason why so many men fall asleep after getting it on. In both men and women, sexual stimulation has been proven to boost brain activity. When we have sex we tend to be relaxed and in turn, we release a lot of stress and anxiety that may have been building up throughout the day.

But when looking at why men seem to fall asleep faster, it’s actually due to a cocktail of chemicals released when they cum. It’s the release of prolactin that makes a particular difference as this is linked to the feeling of sexual satisfaction: “This suggests a strong link between prolactin and sleep, so it’s likely that the hormone’s release during orgasm causes men to feel sleepy,” experts explain. They add, “For unknown reasons, intercourse orgasms release four times more prolactin than masturbatory orgasms.”

‘Love Hormone’ Could Be To Blame For Male Sex Addiction, Study Says

New research suggests there may be a scientific reason for some men’s insatiable sexual appetites. A new study published in the Endocrine Society’s Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism found that men with “hypersexual disorder” have “significantly higher” levels of oxytocin in their system. Oxytocin, aka the “love hormone,” is naturally produced by both men and women and helps fuel positive emotions—but too much of it can have serious consequences.

The study examined 64 males with hypersexual disorder, as well as 38 men who reported ordinary levels of sexual interest and arousal, and found “significant positive correlations between oxytocin levels and the rating scales measuring hypersexual behavior.” The study’s co-author says, “Oxytocin plays an important role in sex addiction and may be a potential drug target for future pharmacological treatment.” Interestingly, the levels of oxytocin in the sex-addicted men significantly reduced after they underwent cognitive behavioral therapy—appearing to confirm that sex addiction can successfully be treated without pharmaceuticals.

Women Who Have More Sex Have Better Developed Brains, Study Says

It seems women with sex on the brain are actually smarter. Scientific researchers have identified the brain region linked to genital touch in women, finding that it is better developed in those who frequently fuck. The study scanned women’s brains using an MRI while they had their clits stimulated.

The researchers then measured the thickness of that brain area—finding it was more robust in the female volunteers who reported having the most sex. In other words: The more sex, the bigger the region of the brain called the “somatosensory cortex.” Researchers believe having a more developed somatosensory cortex is a result of “brain plasticity,” which happens when certain parts of the brain become bigger the more they are used.

Average Penis Length Is Much Shorter Than Most Think, TikTok Doc Claims

A doctor on TikTok is claiming studies on penis size are guilty of erectile exaggeration. A video of his “manhood myth-busting” currently has more than 430,000 views on TikTok. “Studies show that the average length of a man’s erect junk is 5.15 inches,” explained the TikTok doc, who has over 7.3 million followers on the platform.

“But the real length is probably less than that because most men with small wieners probably wouldn’t consent to being involved in those studies.” “Omg… please say ‘erect junk’ more … that caught me off guard. I wheeze laughed,” wrote one fan in the comments. Another added, “I feel better about myself now thank you,” to which the doctor replied, “You’re welcome.”

People With Anxiety And Depression More Likely To Use ‘Sextech,’ Study Finds

People struggling with their mental health are more likely to explore digital sexual technologies, a study finds. Kinsey Institute experts say sextech helps these individuals find temporary relief. Examples of sextech include erotic webcam sites, virtual reality porn, or even just the capacity to share sexually explicit images or videos.

“It’s likely that many users in these spaces do have social support and adequate social networks, but they’re turning to online sexual technologies for a unique boost to their psychological mindset,” researchers say. “As the global need for innovative mental health resources and interventions increases, emerging sexual technologies may provide relief for people with mental health struggles.” The authors point out that sextech is not used by lonely people who can’t find sex in face-to-face relationships, but instead as an “important pathway for mental health intervention.”

Men Who Vape Are Twice As Likely To Have Erectile Dysfunction, Study Finds

New research published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine suggests male e-cigarette users are more than twice as likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction [ED] compared to non-vapers. The comprehensive study, conducted by doctors at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, also included data from the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study. Researchers found that compared to the men who had never used an e-cigarette, vapers were 2.2-times more likely to report having experienced ED.

“Our analyses accounted for the cigarette smoking history of participants, including those who were never cigarette smokers to begin with, so it is possible that daily e-cigarette vaping may be associated with higher odds of erectile dysfunction regardless of one’s smoking history,” said the study’s lead author. Researchers went a step further by factoring out those with a prior history of cardiovascular disease—which is known to prompt ED due to poor blood circulation—and found e-cigarette users in this sample suffered ED at a rate of 2.4-times that of non-users. Researchers say they need to look into the relationship between ED and vaping further, but “our findings underscore the need to study patterns of e-cigarette use that are relatively safer than smoking.”
