Pornhub Tries To Close The Orgasm Gap On International Female Orgasm Day

On the weekend of International Female Orgasm Day, Pornhub will seek to close the orgasm gap by raising awareness of the issue on its platform. The porn megasite will interrupt their videos most viewed by straight men at the 40 percent timestamp — to highlight how approximately 40 percent of straight women don’t orgasm during sex with their partners. “Researchers demystified the female orgasm decades ago by highlighting the importance of clitoral stimulation and foreplay for women to reach The Big O,” said the VP of Pornhub in a press release.

“Yet, in straight relationships, women are still getting the short end of the stick in nearly half of all of their sexual encounters,” he added. In addition to interrupting videos, Pornhub also asks women to go to the campaign landing page endtheorgasmgap.com and “reward” men who made them orgasm with an official certificate. Pornhub is also offering thousands of female orgasm instructional videos: “The party shouldn’t end as soon as the man reaches orgasm, which is why we’re encouraging straight men to do their research to ensure everyone gets over the finish line.”

Women Who Use Marijuana Have Better Orgasms

A new study finds that women who consume cannabis on a regular basis report having better orgasms, higher arousal and more sexual satisfaction. In general, women in the study who get high reported a better time in the bedroom.

“Our results demonstrate that increasing frequency of cannabis use is associated with improved sexual function and is associated with increased satisfaction, orgasm, and sexual desire,” the authors of the study wrote. The authors added, “For each additional step of cannabis use intensity (ie, times per week), the odds of reporting female sexual dysfunction declined by 21%.” Researchers aren’t sure about why exactly weed is linked to better sex but they pointed out that the drug can make women feel less anxious and more relaxed — often leading to a better experience between the sheets.

Pornhub Offers Free Ads To Help Small Businesses

Pornhub says it wants to help struggling businesses expose themselves to a whole new audience. The porn site is giving away $300,000 worth of free advertising—a move it hopes will stimulate small businesses that have been beaten down by the coronavirus crisis. Pornhub will select 100 small firms to receive 10 million impressions each from ads run alongside Pornhub’s massive collection of X-rated videos.

While nearly all of its advertising currently comes from other sexually oriented businesses, Pornhub hopes the “Big Package” contest will attract other entrepreneurs eager to reach the site’s 130 million daily visitors. “Many of the businesses this contest will appeal to have never considered marketing themselves with Pornhub before, and we are hoping that this campaign will help them consider us in a new light given our reach and appeal to mass audiences,” Pornhub’s Vice President said. “They might not remember seeing your business on Facebook, but they’ll definitely remember seeing you on Pornhub.”

Women Who Watch Porn, Have College Degrees Are More Likely To Cum

Researchers have discovered that women who frequently watch porn are less likely to have difficulty getting turned on and more likely to orgasm while masturbating. In the new study, the research team discovered that frequent porn viewing in women was a predictor for “lower arousal difficulty and orgasmic difficulty, greater pleasure, and a higher percentage of masturbatory events leading to orgasm.” Researchers found porn did not negatively impact women’s relationships with their partners, either—refuting claims from conservative organizations, like anti-porn nonprofit Fight the New Drug.

According to the research, porn actually has no bearing on romantic relationships; it just makes sex a lot more fun. Meanwhile, education levels also served as a predictor for less issues getting turned on while masturbating, a “higher likelihood” of having an orgasm during sex, and experiencing less difficulty reaching an orgasm while touching oneself or having sex. “One common interpretation of this relationship is that more educated (and thus literate in many cultures) women are more aware of their sexuality, sexual issues, and sexual choices, and thus able to better articulate their sexual desires to their partner and to prioritize their own pleasure as an integral component of meaningful sexual relationships,” the study notes.

Orders are limited to two products at a time, and one order per individual every 30 days, while supplies last,” according to a Health Department press release.
