LoveSync’s Idea For Sex Buttons Is Being Mocked Online

There’s a Kickstarter by a company called LoveSync that has created buttons to press when you want to have sex with your partner. The Kickstarter says LoveSync is “an entirely new way to increase your sexual frequency and boost your romantic relationship with the simple press of a button”—but social media isn’t having it.

Why would a couple need a button to let each other know they want to fuck? As one person on social media says, “lol just tell your partner you’re horny, and if they’re also horny, like go to town my dudes. This is fucking dumb.” Another person quips, “it really gets my going when a man calls upon me to deliver sex by wordlessly pushing a usb-powered button.” We’re baffled by the feature that lets you “cancel” your request for sex by holding down the button for 4-seconds—maybe you could simply communicate with the person you’re having sex with?

The More Porn You Watch, The More Likely You Are To Be Bisexual: Study

The survey of 11,000 users found that the more porn you watch, the likelier you are to swing both ways. The study reveals that 22.36 percent of US porn users are bisexual, while only 4.05 percent categorize themselves as gay or lesbian, and 67.77 percent are heterosexual.

Researchers at xHamster found that 13.09 percent of people who watch porn once a week are bisexual, while watching once a day would land you in the 23.01 percent group of bisexuals. And if you log on for XXX action several times a day, you may count yourself among the 27.46 percent of xHamster’s frequent viewers who are bisexual. “We can only provide correlation, not prove causation, but it would seem that watching porn more frequently helps show users what sexuality can be,” says xHamster. “The more porn you watch, the more you may think, ‘Hey, that’s actually somewhat of a turn-on. Maybe I’m not as totally straight, or gay, as I thought.’”

Bangladesh Blocks Internet Porn

nopornInternet providers in the conservative Muslim-majority nation of Bangladesh (ha, bang) took down pornography after orders from the telecommunications regulator who has said, “this is my war against pornography.” The crackdown was launched after Bangladesh’s High Court in November asked the government to block pornography websites and publication of obscene materials in electronic forms for six months.

Most of the blocked sites are foreign, but a few local websites and social media platforms have also faced action under the crackdown. Local Facebook profiles, YouTube channels and websites that are deemed “provocative” or “go against our social norms” are being actively targeted. Thankfully, many users can still access online porn by using virtual private networks or mirror websites — but as the conservative telecommunications regulator warned, “this will be a continuous war.”
