BDSM Netflix Series ‘Bonding’ Is Slammed By Dominatrixes

A new X-rated Netflix show about dominatrixes is being slammed by the sex workers it’s meant to represent. “Bonding” is about a student who moonlights as a dominatrix, and drags her best friend Pete into her late night New York antics. However, real-life dominatrixes have slammed the show for inaccuracies, saying those who make their living from dominating clients—as well those in the BDSM community—are not being accurately represented.

One dominatrix called the show out on social media, saying “how about you get actual BDSMrs to write and consult on a show about our community instead of whatever #BondingNetflix is. As a lifestyler and sex worker I’m not impressed with how badly you’re portraying us. Do better #BondingNetflixisnotkink.” The show was created by Rightor Doyle, who has based Pete’s character on his own experiences in New York at 22, when he was employed to be a dominatrix’s bodyguard. But as another angry viewer observed: “Was he an ‘assistant’ for a week, 20 years ago with a fuzzy memory?”

His warning was met with immediate backlash from Brazil’s LGBT community: “This is not a head of state—this is a national disgrace,” said a gay lawmaker. On his first day in office, Bolsonaro signed executive orders limiting the rights of LGBTQ people, indigenous people, and the descendants of slaves. “We believe love will always win against hate and there is nothing that he can do to beat that,” said a gay activist of Rio-based advocacy group Arco-Íris. “We will never ever return to the closet.”

Pornhub Reveals The Most Popular ‘Avengers’ Searches

Anticipation over Avengers: Endgame is so high that Pornhub visitors are searching for their favorite Marvel characters on the adult entertainment site. According to Pornhub, searches for “Avengers” has been on the uptick, showing a 2,912 percent increase ahead of the movie’s release.

Porhub reported that, in comparison, there was “only” a 356 percent spike for “Avengers” searches with the release of Avengers: Infinity War. The most popular individual Avenger searches were for the film’s hot leading ladies: Captain Marvel at number one and Black Widow at number two. After that, fans wanted to see Spider-Man, the Hulk, and Captain America in action (wink wink).

UK Government’s New Porn Age-Checker Can Be Sidestepped In Seconds

The move is intended to stop children from accessing X-rated material online—but the system can be sidestepped in seconds using a simple Google search and fake verification details. Porn sites will have to sign up to one of a series of age-checker services available online, which has sparked companies to jostle for contracts with site owners.

Websites that fail to implement age-verification technology face having payment services withdrawn or being blocked for UK users. However, after a quick google, a Guardian reporter was able to verify themselves as an adult on well-known site AgeChecked.com, who claimed the system works by requiring that people provide a form of ID, an age-verified telephone number, or a credit card, per the new government rules. AgeChecked.com responded to the Guardian with: “That’s quite interesting … That’s within the capabilities of someone relatively young. I think we’re going to swap that method out.”
