The thread begins with: “I have sex with fat people, and it’s not revolutionary: a thread.” They added, “I’m super leery of non-fat people who frame sex with fat folks as an act of liberation. Similar to when they do it to trans folks, it’s always seemed very ‘sensational’ to me.”

The thread discussed fatphobia and fat fetishization, to which the person explains: “I have sex with fat people because they’re hot. Not because they’re fat. Not in spite of them being fat. Not b/c it’s ‘more cushion for the pushin.’ Not b/c they ‘wear it well.’ Not b/c ‘thick thighs save lives.’ Not b/c they’re ‘big but healthy.’ Because. they. are. hot.” The point of the thread really boils down to this statement: “Having sex with fat people isn’t a political statement. I don’t do it because I’m a radical. I don’t do it in the name of liberation. I do it because shorty is fine af and I like butt touchin.”

‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Was The Dominant Book Of The Decade

4707352284_1e4de7d166_zSex—especially kinky sex—sells. “Fifty Shades of Grey” by British author E L James sold 15.2 million copies following its release in late 2011, grabbing the title of best-selling book of the past decade. Even more astounding, the Nos. 2 and 3 best-sellers of the decade were the other two novels in the BDSM trilogy: “Fifty Shades Darker” (10.4 million) and “Fifty Shades Freed” (9.3 million).

The books were released within weeks of one another at the start of the decade by Random House and would sell more than 100 million copies. They also enjoyed a renewed mid-decade surge thanks to the racy 2015 movie. The trilogy combined earned $35 million in the US according to NPD Bookscan, which tracks the majority of book sales worldwide.

Strip Clubs Are Using VR To Entice Younger Clients

In an attempt to appeal to a younger demographic, strip clubs are starting to update with VR. The idea involves turning strip clubs into a dual brick-and-mortar space that offers virtual reality experiences. San Francisco’s Gold Club partnered with a company called Vixen VR to create a virtual strip club experience — not just one that would allow you to strap on a headset and see a dancer gyrating in front of you, but one that would allow the user to move around within the VR space.

The idea was to make club customers out of those who’d rather stay home than go out for an evening of entertainment and those who might be interested, but fear actually going into strip clubs because of the stigma. A number of clubs at the annual Gentlemen’s Club Expo, the industry’s only trade show were boasting plans for VR projects: “I can tell you that there was a line to go into one booth” to try out their VR system, “and people never wait in line to go to a trade show booth.” There’s also porn company Naughty America, which created an augmented reality program to beam dancers directly into a consumer’s apartment.

“I [45M] Walked in on son [16M] having gay sex and he’s become quite awkward and distant,” the title reads. “I’m also going to buy him a lock for his door and tell him that I want him to feel comfortable ‘doing it’ in the house with his boyfriend,” he wrote. Daily Mail reports, “Hallmark announced in a statement that the commercials for wedding planning site Zola, one of which showed two women kissing at the altar on their wedding day, will be reinstated, days after they were removed following a complaint from conservative group One Million Moms.” A Hallmark spokesperson previously told The Associated Press that the network pulled the ads because the controversy was creating a distraction.

Hallmark Cards CEO said in a statement: “The Crown Media team has been agonizing over this decision as we’ve seen the hurt it has unintentionally caused. Said simply, they believe this was the wrong decision.” He added, “We are truly sorry for the hurt and disappointment this has caused.” Hallmark faced bitter backlash on social media after pulling the ad—the hashtag #BoycottHallmark was trending at one point on Twitter, with Ellen DeGeneres asking, ”Isn’t it almost 2020?”
